The Creux Automatiq Ghost V3 Mono is a large, skeletonised automatic with a titanium case, a forged-carbon bezel and a grey FKM rubber strap, limited to 80 numbered pieces. The maker’s product page lists it as sold out, so this is a guide to what the manufacturer specifies, not a way to buy one new. We have not found an independent hands-on assessment of this exact reference, so comfort, finishing, timekeeping and reliability remain open questions below.

Is the Ghost V3 Mono still available new?

No, not from the maker as far as its listing shows. The Creux Automatiq product page for the Ghost V3 Mono displays the watch as sold out and describes each piece as numbered out of 80. The page quotes: “Each piece is numbered /80 (sold out).” (Creux Automatiq, Ghost V3 MONO product page)

The same page displays a price of $3,200 USD. That figure is the listed price on an undated product page. It is not evidence of a current transaction price, and it says nothing about what a used example would sell for. The brand’s collection page at PRINCIPE PRIVE shows Creux Automatiq as a range, but we did not confirm that this exact Mono reference is in stock there.

  • 【Professional Waterproof & Durable Material】Boasts a professional 200-meter (660 feet) water resistance rating, far exceeding everyday splash-proof protection. It is suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and water sports. The case and bracelet are crafted from robust 316L stainless steel, offering excellent corrosion resistance and skin-friendly comfort for long-term durability.
  • 【Exceptional Clarity & Top-Tier Scratch Resistance】Features a thickened synthetic sapphire crystal glass. With a hardness second only to diamond, it provides extreme scratch resistance, maintaining a clear, pristine view of the dial even after daily wear and tear.
  • 【Practical Functions & Reliable Core】Powered by a precise automatic self-winding mechanical movement. It requires no battery, drawing energy from the natural motion of your wrist. The dial includes a practical date display window for convenient daily reference.
  • 【Professional Timing & Luxurious Texture】Equipped with a unidirectional rotating ceramic bezel. This serves not only for underwater or everyday timing but the ceramic material is also highly wear-resistant, fade-resistant, and maintains its luster permanently, giving the watch a more textured and functional appearance.
  • 【Design & Wearing Experience】The design blends the ruggedness of a sports watch with the elegance of a dress watch. The bezel rotates smoothly with precise clicks. Luminous hands and markers (if applicable, please add) ensure readability in low-light conditions, making it a reliable companion for business, casual, and sports occasions alike.

How big it is, and what the numbers do not tell you

On paper this is a large watch. The case is 45 mm across, and the listed overall dimensions are 45 × 50 × 12.9 mm. The 12.9 mm height matters for slipping the watch under a shirt cuff, and the 50 mm figure is larger than the case diameter, so it likely includes features that project beyond the case.

The figure that decides fit is lug-to-lug length, the distance from the top lug to the bottom lug. The listing does not state it, and lug-to-lug determines whether a case overhangs a narrow wrist. The strap material also changes how the watch sits: a rubber strap conforms differently from a metal bracelet, and its flexibility is not described by the maker. Wrist fit cannot be concluded from these measurements alone.

The dial: skeleton layout and legibility

The Ghost V3 Mono removes the conventional seconds hand. Seconds are shown by a rotating wheel at 9 o’clock, so reading the time in a second requires looking at a moving disc rather than a hand sweeping across the dial. The date appears in a skeleton window at 6 o’clock, which fits the three-hand date system the maker lists.

The maker describes a double anti-glare treatment on the sapphire crystal and an open skeleton dial. Whether the hands and indices read quickly in bright light, or whether the open layout creates visual clutter in practice, is not established by the listing and has not been independently assessed.

The movement: CA S24-SK8

The Mono runs a CA S24-SK8 automatic movement, which the maker says was developed by Swisstech. The listing gives 33 jewels, a 36-hour power reserve and 28,800 A/h. A beat rate of 28,800 A/h equals 4 Hz (28,800 ÷ 7,200), meaning four full oscillations per second.

The maker’s general account of how its watches are built is on Creux Automatiq’s “What makes our watches tick?” page. That page covers the brand in general and may describe other variants, so it does not confirm details of this reference. Timekeeping accuracy has not been measured in any source we reviewed. The 36-hour reserve is also a maker claim; we have not verified how long the watch runs from a full wind under real wear.

Water resistance and lume

The listing gives 10 ATM, which it expresses as 100 meters. A water-resistance rating is laboratory test pressure applied to a sealed case. It does not account for crown manipulation after water exposure, temperature changes, or the dynamic forces of swimming or diving. Treat the rating as a maker’s claim for splashes and everyday contact, and do not use it as guidance for swimming, diving or any other water activity without specialist advice.

The hands and indices are filled with Super-LumiNova. The listing does not give glow duration or brightness, so how well the Mono reads in the dark is not established.

What comes in the box, and what the warranty covers

The package is listed as the box, papers and a strap-changing tool. The strap tool is useful for changing the grey FKM strap, but the listing does not say which replacement straps or lug widths are compatible, so do not assume a third-party strap will fit.

The two-year warranty is stated on the product page without its terms. Coverage, claim process and whether the warranty transfers to a second owner are not stated, so check these with the maker before buying a used example.

What this review cannot confirm

  • Comfort on different wrists: a 50 mm overall figure and an undisclosed lug-to-lug length cannot predict wear. Only a wrist trial, or a published lug-to-lug measurement, can settle this.
  • Finishing in person: the listing names sandblast and brushed surfaces, but the quality of the finish, edges and skeleton cutouts can only be judged by handling the watch.
  • Timekeeping accuracy: an independently measured rate, taken over several days in different positions, would be needed. None is available here.
  • Long-term reliability and service: the cost of a service, the turnaround time and the availability of parts are not stated by the maker. A written service quotation from an authorised workshop would answer this.
  • Replacement strap dimensions: the listing does not give lug width, so compatibility with aftermarket straps is unconfirmed.

If you are considering a used Ghost V3 Mono

Because the maker lists the edition as sold out, any example you find will be secondhand. Before committing, ask the seller for:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • The edition number, checked against the maker’s “/80” numbering, and the matching serial on the case and papers.
  • The original box, papers and strap-changing tool, since the listing says these are included.
  • A lug-to-lug measurement and close photos of the case edges, bezel and strap.
  • Any service history, including whether the movement has been opened and by whom.
  • A statement from the maker or the seller about whether the two-year warranty still applies to the current owner.

Verdict on the evidence

The Ghost V3 Mono is a specification-led watch. Its large titanium case, forged-carbon bezel, skeleton dial and automatic movement give a clear picture of the design, and those details are enough to decide whether the look appeals. They do not show how the watch wears, how accurately it keeps time, how it holds up over years, or whether it offers value at the listed price. Those answers depend on measurements and wear that no source we reviewed has provided.
