The listing specifies a 20mm lug width, two strap sections measuring 12cm and 9cm, and a stated wrist range of 13–20.5cm. Those are seller-published claims, not independently verified fit results. One important detail is unresolved: the product page describes the material as both FKM rubber and TPU rubber.
Does the Wristbuddys strap fit a MoonSwatch?
The retailer explicitly describes the Curved Rubber Strap – Black as designed for MoonSwatch models and lists a 20mm lug width. That makes it a plausible replacement to consider, but the listing alone does not establish that it fits every MoonSwatch case as expected. No independent fit test is available here.
Its curved end is the product’s distinguishing feature compared with a generic straight-end strap. When comparing alternatives, check that the end shape is intended to sit against the MoonSwatch case, rather than relying on a matching lug-width number alone. Wristbuddys’ claim applies to its product; do not assume that every 20mm strap will have the same case fit.
What size wrist does it fit?
Wristbuddys lists a wrist range of 13–20.5cm, with strap sections measuring 12cm and 9cm. The page also gives a 20mm lug width and an 18mm buckle width. These are the retailer’s specifications; compare the stated wrist range with your own measurement before ordering.

For its own MoonSwatch straps, Swatch advises printing its sizing guide at 100% and wrapping it around the wrist as if it were a watch. The chart gives the following ranges:

Is it FKM or TPU rubber?
The Wristbuddys page is inconsistent. Its product description calls the strap “Premium FKM rubber,” while its technical-information section identifies the material as “TPU Rubber with anti-UV, anti-dust and anti-allergic.” The listing does not resolve which description is correct, so confirm the material with the seller if it matters to your purchase. Do not treat either term as established without clarification.
The same page specifies a 304L stainless steel buckle. Other details, such as comfort, long-term durability, and water performance compared with Swatch straps, are not established by the available product information.

How do you change the strap?
Wristbuddys describes the strap as attached with spring bars: sprung pins seated in the watch lugs. Its product page says a forked spring-bar tool is used to push a bar inward to remove the strap, and the tool can also be used to install the replacement. The retailer warns against prying at the case with a knife or screwdriver.
- Review the official Swatch MoonSwatch straps page, which includes a strap-change instructional section, and the instructions provided with your strap.
- If you choose to proceed, use a suitable forked spring-bar tool as described by the retailer. Avoid levering a knife or screwdriver against the case.
- Check that the replacement is seated securely before wearing the watch. If you are unsure how to release or seat the spring bars, have a watch professional change it.
How does it compare with an official Swatch strap?
Swatch’s US MoonSwatch accessory page lists its own straps, including rubber and Velcro options, and provides strap-change guidance. Catalog items and prices can change. The official range is an alternative to investigate if you would rather choose an accessory sold by Swatch.

Compare the options on the details that affect your use:
- Case fit: Wristbuddys claims a MoonSwatch-specific curved fit; check the shape and compatibility claims for any alternative.
- Size: Wristbuddys lists its dimensions and wrist range, while Swatch provides a separate chart for its own straps. Do not equate their size labels.
- Material and construction: Ask Wristbuddys to clarify its FKM/TPU wording, and assess other straps by their own specifications.
- Attachment: The Wristbuddys page describes spring-bar installation. Consult the relevant instructions and consider whether you have the right tool or prefer professional help.
- Price and stock: The observed US product page showed a $75 price and in-stock status, but both can change. Check the live listing before buying.
