What is the Klepcys Vertical Skeleton Tourbillon Sapphire?
It is a skeletonized mechanical watch with a transparent sapphire-crystal case and a central tourbillon mounted on a vertical axis. Cyrus announced the model on 18 October 2021 as a 10-piece edition marking the company’s 10th anniversary. The manufacturer credits master watchmaker Jean-François Mojon with its design and describes the sapphire case as a way to expose the open-worked movement from multiple angles. Cyrus’s announcement and the official technical sheet identify it as ref. 539.506.ZG.A.

How the displays and tourbillon work
The watch pairs retrograde hour and minute displays with a one-minute tourbillon at the center. Seconds are indicated on the tourbillon cage, while a sphere at 12 o’clock indicates the remaining power reserve. Cyrus specifies the tourbillon’s vertical axis as 90 degrees; its technical sheet also gives the cage’s construction and weight.
The hand-wound CYR625 movement has two parallel barrels and a stated reserve of more than 100 hours. The power-reserve sphere makes that reserve visible on the dial side; the technical sheet does not provide a more specific measurement tolerance or an independently verified runtime.
