Those are the original prices reported in 2020, not verified current market prices or evidence of present availability.
What is the HYT Flow?
HYT introduced the Flow on 14 September 2020. Its defining feature is an hour display formed by colored liquid moving through a capillary around the dial. The watch pairs that display with conventional minute and power-reserve indications, plus LEDs that illuminate the dial. HYT’s official timeline places the Flow collection in 2020; it is not a new 2026 release.
The launch report named two versions: the Vortex, reference H02593, and the Diamond Dome, reference H02464. Both were reported as limited to 25 pieces.

The launch report describes the Vortex’s tapered form but does not establish a deeper technical difference between the two versions’ movements or fluid displays. Its prices are historical launch figures; current asking prices and stock are unverified.
How does the fluidic hour display work?
HYT describes a module with two flexible reservoirs, or bellows, connected by a capillary. One reservoir contains colored liquid and the other transparent liquid. The boundary between them—the meniscus—marks the hour as it travels along the scale. HYT’s user guide puts it simply: “The meniscus marks the surface separating the liquids in the tube, indicating the time.”

The movement drives the fluidic module through the bellows. HYT says the colored liquid advances during the day and rewinds at 06:00. The fluid display is therefore not a conventional hand or a decorative static tube; the movement actively operates the module.
How does the Flow’s illumination work?
The launch report says a pusher activates the lighting. It describes a miniaturized generator that stores and releases energy for the LEDs, converting mechanical energy held in a barrel into electrical power. The report calls this batteryless illumination; that description comes from the 2020 launch coverage, not an independent test.

How much did the HYT Flow cost?
Monochrome Watches reported 2020 launch prices of CHF 79,000 for the Vortex and CHF 149,000 for the Diamond Dome. These amounts describe the original retail prices reported at launch. The available information does not establish current resale values, present-day asking prices, or whether either reference is currently available from a retailer.

HYT’s official FLOW user guide says only an HYT-approved professional watchmaker can replace the fluidic system. It directs owners to approved retailers or HYT customer services for maintenance, and says unauthorized third-party repair automatically voids the guarantee described in the guide.

The guide describes a five-year guarantee against manufacturing defects for watches purchased through an approved HYT retailer. It excludes damage caused by incorrect handling or improper use. That guide language does not establish warranty coverage for any particular pre-owned watch.
