The MONOCHROME Montre de Souscription 2 is the Czapek Antarctique Monochrome White, a limited edition of 33 watches made for Monochrome Shop. Its 2021 listing is marked sold out, so the price and subscription terms below are historical rather than a current offer.
What is the Montre de Souscription 2?
It is the second MONOCHROME Shop subscription-watch collaboration. Czapek made the watch, which MONOCHROME identified at launch as an Antarctique and named Monochrome White. The shop described the production run as 33 pieces. MONOCHROME’s launch coverage and the MONOCHROME Shop listing document the model and edition.
The design pairs a stainless-steel case and integrated bracelet with a matte, finely grained silvery-white dial. Rhodium-plated indexes, luminous hands, central seconds and a date at six o’clock complete the display. A sapphire exhibition back reveals the movement. Frank Geelen, MONOCHROME’s founder, described the intended character in the product copy as “real and discreet luxury” that “does not scream its pedigree, price or origin.” That is his stated view of the design, not an independent assessment.

The thickness conflict matters if you are comparing fit or checking a watch against a measurement-sensitive requirement. Confirm the specification with Czapek or the seller of a particular example rather than choosing one of the listing’s two numbers.

How much did it cost, and is it still available?
The 2021 shop listing gave a price of €17,200 excluding taxes and a non-refundable €5,200 deposit, also excluding taxes. The balance was due when the watch was ready to ship; the listing said taxes depended on destination. It also listed free insured shipping and a three-year Czapek warranty. These are historical subscription terms, not a current offer or a verified present-day valuation. The shop page currently shows the model as sold out, and its status does not establish whether examples are available on the secondary market or at what price.
MONOCHROME announced the subscription on 15 December 2021, with it due to open on 16 December. The shop described a window of up to two weeks, or until all 33 watches were sold. The announcement records the launch timing; the shop listing records the edition and sale terms.

Bracelet, rubber strap and ownership details
The integrated bracelet has brushed and polished surfaces, a folding clasp and micro-adjustment. The listing also specified an easy-release changeover system and included one additional rubber strap in black, grey or white, along with its folding clasp and the changeover tool. It does not establish whether compatible replacement straps are currently available.
The stated 120 m / 12 ATM water resistance and screw-down crown are product specifications, not a substitute for checking the condition of an individual watch. For a pre-owned example, ask the seller about service history, water-resistance testing, included strap and clasp, and the original changeover tool.
