How the design works on the wrist
The case combines angular lines with a pronounced bezel, simple markers and sharp finishing. De Groot highlights the elevated minute track, whose black-and-orange surface stands apart from the white dial. He also describes horizontally brushed case sides, muscular hour markers, sharp hands and two-color Lumibrite.

At first, the orange details made him skeptical. After wearing the watch, he came to enjoy the more playful, almost provocative effect. That response is personal rather than a universal verdict on the design. As he put it: “And after a week of having it on the wrist, I can certainly see why!”
Reported dimensions and the SBGX093 comparison
Fratello reported a 40 mm case diameter and a 44 mm lug-to-lug span for the SBGX341 in 2022. De Groot found that it felt more compact than the smaller-diameter SBGX093 he had owned, because the older watch’s longer span reached farther across the wrist.

Fit: compact feel, but no fine adjustment
De Groot says his wrist circumference was 17 cm. On his wrist, the SBGX341 felt comfortable, though a little loose. He also found that the bezel overhang and brushed top helped the watch look visually compact.

What the account does—and doesn’t—say about quartz accuracy
The article calls the 9F61 “super-accurate,” but gives no measured result or quoted tolerance. It therefore supports identifying the movement as the no-date 9F61 quartz calibre, not assigning it an accuracy figure or treating the borrowed-watch story as a performance test.

De Groot reports that Lex had set the watch five minutes ahead. That is an anecdote about Lex’s chosen setting, not evidence of the watch’s measured accuracy and not a recommended way to set it.
