However, no announcement naming a winner turned up, and the one giveaway page we found that uses the Santiago name shows a different reference.
What the auction record confirms about the BlueShark
The clearest documented source for this watch is a Dorotheum auction lot. The catalog describes a limited-edition Delma Santiago BlueShark, reference 41701.650.6, dated circa 2015 and recorded with the number 114/500. The lot date is 19 September 2024. The listing gives the following specifications:
- Case: stainless steel, approximately 44 mm
- Crown and case back: screw-down
- Helium valve
- Unidirectional bezel
- Movement: automatic ETA 2824-2
- Dial: green, with date and central seconds
The 114/500 figure is the number recorded for this lot. It identifies one watch in an edition, and it does not indicate how many winners or how many watches were given away in any contest.
Why the Santiago name alone does not identify the prize
Delma uses the Santiago name across several references with different movements, cases and dials. Two other Santiago models appear in the sources reviewed for this article, and neither matches the auction BlueShark.

Only the first row is the BlueShark documented in the auction catalog. A prize described only as a “Santiago” or “Blue Shark” could refer to any of these references, so the reference number is the detail that counts.
The UK retailer giveaway page
A UK retailer’s product page for reference 41702.756.6.044 displays an entry form. It gives a deadline of 30 August 2026 and states that the winner would be announced by 10 September 2026. That date has now passed, but the page does not display a winner. Because the reference differs from the auction BlueShark, the page is at most a possible but unverified connection to the title. Its giveaway mechanism is not evidence that the watch in the title is the prize.

How to verify a winner announcement
A winner claim is only useful if it can be traced to its original source. Check the following before accepting any name:
- The original post, page or announcement, with its publication date and the channel where it appeared
- The exact reference number printed in the giveaway terms, compared against 41701.650.6 and the other references above
- The organiser named in the terms, and whether that organiser is Delma, a retailer or a third party
- The eligibility rules and the stated announcement deadline
- A named winner tied to a specific date, not a name without context
If the original announcement cannot be found, the most accurate position is that no verified winner has been published for a Delma Santiago BlueShark giveaway. A product search for “Delma Santiago BlueShark watch” will find the auction listing, but it does not establish who won any contest.
