No. Google says iPhones are not supported with the Pixel Watch 5. The watch is designed to work with most phones running Android 12.0 or newer, using the Google Pixel Watch app and a Google Account. Bluetooth pairing, an LTE model, or installing an app on an iPhone does not provide a supported setup path.
Can you pair a Pixel Watch 5 with an iPhone?
No. Google’s Pixel Watch compatibility guidance states, “iPhones aren’t supported.” That means an iPhone is not a supported companion phone for setting up or using the Pixel Watch 5.

Bluetooth does not change that requirement: pairing the devices at the Bluetooth level is not a substitute for completing setup through Google’s required phone app. Choosing the watch’s LTE version also does not make iPhone compatibility possible.

Google’s Pixel Watch 5 technical specifications say it works with most phones running Android 12.0 or newer. “Most” matters: the stated Android version is a baseline, not a guarantee that every Android handset is compatible.

Will troubleshooting make it work with an iPhone?
No. The troubleshooting steps apply to setup problems with a compatible Android phone; they do not make an iPhone a supported companion device. For Android pairing trouble, Google’s troubleshooting guidance recommends checking that the watch is charged, software is up to date, Bluetooth and location are on, and Wi-Fi and internet access are available.

Should an iPhone owner buy the Pixel Watch 5?
Not if the plan is to pair it with that iPhone. Choose a smartwatch whose manufacturer explicitly confirms iPhone support, and verify the exact model, required iOS version, and whether the features you want work on iOS. Compatibility can vary by model and feature; do not assume support based on Bluetooth or a product family name alone.
