But the official product pages reviewed do not identify the movement as a Sellita SW200, so that calibre attribution is unconfirmed. The available evidence supports a specification-led assessment, not claims about wrist comfort, accuracy in use or dive performance.
What is the DOXA SUB 300β Sharkhunter?
It is a black-and-gold variant of DOXA’s SUB 300β dive watch, offered with either a date or a no-date dial. DOXA describes the β as retaining the SUB 300’s design DNA in a slimmer package; that is the manufacturer’s positioning, rather than an independent finding about its appeal or comfort.
The date model is reference 830.20.101.20 on the US product page. The no-date model is reference 830.20.101ND.20. The US listing showed USD 7,850 for the date version when reviewed in 2026; DOXA’s European no-date page displayed EUR 7,450. These are regional listing snapshots, not directly comparable or universal prices. Check the current page for the relevant region, variant, taxes and availability.
What movement is in the SUB 300β Sharkhunter?
DOXA identifies the movement as a Swiss automatic, self-winding, COSC-certified chronometer, decorated by DOXA. The published specifications are a 38-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The official pages reviewed do not name a calibre or manufacturer.

That means the Sellita SW200 identification in the title is not confirmed by the cited manufacturer information. Matching a movement’s stated reserve and frequency to a familiar calibre family would not establish what is inside this specific watch. For now, the accurate description is the movement specification DOXA publishes, without assigning it an SW200 calibre number.
How big does the SUB 300β wear?
DOXA lists a 42.5 mm case diameter, 44.50 mm lug-to-lug length, 11.95 mm thickness and 20 mm lug width. These are manufacturer dimensions, not an assessment of how the watch fits a particular wrist.

For comparison, DOXA lists the SUB 300T at 13.65 mm thick, making the β 1.70 mm slimmer on the published figures. The brand also says the β’s bezel sits 0.5 mm lower. Those details establish a difference in profile, but do not by themselves prove that the β will feel more comfortable or wear smaller.
What are the case and dial materials?
The case is black matte ceramic with a titanium chamber and screw-down titanium caseback. The screw-down crown and unidirectional rotating bezel are made of 18K 3N gold; the bezel has a ceramic insert. DOXA specifies a matte, grained black dial with black-on-black markings.

The result, on paper, is a deliberately low-contrast black dial framed by gold accents. The specifications describe the colors and materials; they do not establish real-world legibility, scratch resistance or how the finish changes with use.
Is the Sharkhunter actually 300 meters water resistant?
DOXA rates it at 30 ATM, or 300 meters (984 feet). That is the manufacturer’s water-resistance rating, not a guarantee that the watch is appropriate for every dive or condition. The same specifications list a screw-down crown and a unidirectional timing bezel. The crystal is sapphire.

What strap does it come with?
DOXA lists a black FKM rubber strap with a black PVD-coated folding clasp and ratcheting wetsuit extension. The lugs are 20 mm wide, and DOXA offers strap and clasp purchases separately. Confirm compatibility with the exact reference before choosing an aftermarket strap; the lug width alone does not verify fit or clasp compatibility.

Is the DOXA SUB 300β Sharkhunter worth it?
The case for it rests on a distinctive material mix—black matte ceramic, titanium and 18K 3N gold—along with a 300-meter maker rating and a COSC-certified automatic movement with a 38-hour reserve. Its published 11.95 mm thickness is also lower than DOXA’s stated SUB 300T figure.
The important caveat is that this specification-led picture cannot answer how the watch feels on the wrist, how its black-on-black dial reads in different light, or how it performs in actual use. The calibre is also not named on the official pages reviewed. Consider the Sharkhunter if its materials, proportions and published specifications suit your needs, and assess the fit and dial in person if those qualities will decide the purchase.
