What is the Eska Racing Chronograph Automatic?
It is a bi-compax chronograph: two subdials sit across from one another, with a reported 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock and small seconds at 9. The central chronograph hand records elapsed seconds. The design belongs to Eska’s Light collection, which emphasizes color and accessibility.
The case is reported as 41 mm in diameter, 12.8 mm thick excluding the sapphire crystal and 14.9 mm including it. It is made of 316L stainless steel, has a screwed caseback and is rated to 50 m water resistance. Those figures are reported by Monochrome Watches in its December 8, 2025 launch coverage; they are shared specifications, not a comparison of on-wrist fit between variants. Monochrome Watches

The design differences are documented by Monochrome Watches and MyWatch EN. MyWatch EN Neither source provides wearer testing or comparative wrist-fit measurements, so the 41 mm diameter alone cannot establish which version will feel better on a particular wrist.

Which dial should you choose?
- Choose Azur if you prefer a cool blue dial, white tracks and a red chronograph hand, or the combination of baton markers and larger 12 and 6 numerals.
- Choose Sunset if you prefer a warm salmon dial with blue accents and italic numerals.
- Compare the live listing and checkout for your region before deciding: the available evidence does not establish current stock or a current Azur price.
Movement and chronograph specifications
Monochrome identifies the automatic movement as the SL4617, made by Liaoning Peacock Watch Co. It reports a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a stated power reserve of 45 hours. The same article characterizes the calibre as a Valjoux 7750 clone; that is the publication’s comparison, not a confirmed description from the movement maker. No movement-maker technical sheet is cited here.
The bi-compax arrangement separates elapsed chronograph minutes from running seconds. The 30-minute counter is at 3 o’clock and the small-seconds display at 9 o’clock, according to the launch coverage.

Case, water resistance and included items
The reported 50 m water-resistance rating and screwed caseback are specifications, not a guarantee that a watch is suitable for every water activity. Follow Eska’s care guidance for use around water; the cited material does not establish activity-specific guidance.
Launch coverage says the package includes a stitched leather strap and travel pouch. It does not confirm the strap width or replacement-strap compatibility, so check the attachment dimensions and system with Eska before ordering alternatives.

Price, availability and French assembly
Eska’s official English site lists Racing Sunset at €490 including tax as accessed October 8, 2026. That listing does not establish live stock, shipping cost or the amount payable in every destination. Check the selected variant and final checkout total for your location. Eska Watches
Monochrome reported a €408 launch price before tax in December 2025. Because that is a pre-tax launch figure and the official listing is a later tax-inclusive price, the two numbers are not a like-for-like price comparison. Monochrome Watches

Eska says its watches are assembled in Besançon, France. That describes assembly location, not the origin of every component. Monochrome also reports that the caseback is engraved with a Lyon skyline, linking the design to the founders’ hometown; this is a design detail, not evidence that the watch is made there.
