Which battery does the ETA 902.002 use?
Horotec lists a 364 / SR621SW cell. Masters in Time identifies the battery as Renata R364 / 364 / SR621SW. Confirm the cell fitted in the specific watch and consult its documentation before replacing it; a movement identification alone is not a substitute for checking the installed battery.

Can another movement replace the ETA 902.002?
Watch Parts Direct lists the ETA 902.005, ETA 562.001, PUW 910 and Ronda 1062 as replacements for the 902.002. Treat that list as a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. ETA directs users to its support portal for interchangeability and variants.

Before ordering a substitute, check the exact movement version and compare its footprint and height with the watch. The dial, hands and case must also be compatible; a retailer’s cross-reference does not establish that every listed movement will fit every watch built around a 902.002.
Service and repair considerations
ETA’s technical communication states that “The repair and reconditioning work must only be performed by properly trained personnel.” The document also covers assembly and electrical testing. If the watch needs internal repair or movement reconditioning, use a properly trained watch repair professional rather than treating the technical specifications as a do-it-yourself service procedure.
