Panerai presented five Luna Rossa Submersible references at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024: PAM01466, PAM01543, PAM01507, PAM01405 and PAM01565. They range from 42 mm dive watches and a titanium GMT to a 45 mm tourbillon GMT experience edition, with distinct materials, functions and availability.
Panerai’s 2024 Luna Rossa lineup at a glance
All five watches appeared in Panerai’s official Geneva 2024 Luna Rossa presentation. Their specifications are not interchangeable: the lineup includes two blue Ti-Ceramitech dive watches, a titanium GMT, a tourbillon GMT experience edition and a limited steel model.

Which two models use Ti-Ceramitech?
PAM01466 and PAM01543: Submersible QuarantaQuattro Luna Rossa Ti-Ceramitech
Both references are 44 mm Submersible QuarantaQuattro watches with blue Ti-Ceramitech cases. Panerai describes Ti-Ceramitech as a material produced using Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation and says it took seven years of research and development to develop. The brand claims it is 44% lighter than steel and has ten times the fracture toughness of traditional ceramic; those comparisons are manufacturer claims, not independently verified test results in the sources cited here.

Panerai states approximately 50 bar (500 m) water resistance for each watch. PAM01543 is identified as boutique-exclusive on the event page; no equivalent access label is stated there for PAM01466. The Watches and Wonders organizer also lists PAM01466 by its Ti-Ceramitech model name, independently corroborating that reference’s place in the collection: Panerai at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024.
What makes PAM01507 a GMT?
PAM01507: Submersible GMT Luna Rossa Titanio
PAM01507 is a 42 mm watch with a Grade 5 titanium case and blue ceramic bezel. Its P.900/GMT24H calibre provides a 24-hour second-time-zone indicator and a three-day power reserve, according to Panerai. The event page also specifies Super-LumiNova Grade X2 and approximately 50 bar (500 m) water resistance. Panerai labels this reference boutique-exclusive.

What is different about the tourbillon experience edition?
PAM01405: Submersible Tourbillon GMT Luna Rossa Experience Edition
The 45 mm PAM01405 is the lineup’s tourbillon GMT and experience edition. Panerai identifies its movement as the P.2015/T mechanical calibre. The brand describes a patented tourbillon whose axis is perpendicular to the balance wheel and whose cage completes one rotation every 30 seconds.
The edition also includes an exclusive America’s Cup finals experience in Barcelona, described by Panerai as including behind-the-scenes and front-row access with the Luna Rossa team. The event page calls it a limited edition but does not state a production quantity, water-resistance rating or case material.

What is the limited e-commerce edition?
PAM01565: Submersible Luna Rossa
PAM01565 is a 42 mm Submersible with a brushed-steel case, blue sun-brushed dial with a black gradient, and a unidirectional rotating bezel fitted with a matt-black ceramic disk. Panerai states approximately 30 bar (300 m) water resistance and describes the e-commerce edition as limited to 300 pieces. The brand explicitly says this reference launched at Watches and Wonders.
Why are these watches tied to Luna Rossa?
Panerai connects the releases to its relationship with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli and America’s Cup sailing. The brand says the relationship began in 2017 and was formalized as an official sponsorship in 2019; the Watches and Wonders organizer describes a multi-year partnership since 2019 and highlights shared interest in material and technology innovation. The two accounts distinguish an earlier relationship from the formal sponsorship.

Panerai also described its 560 m² event booth as evoking the Luna Rossa hangar and displaying manufacturing machinery used in tests for extreme wear scenarios. That account describes the booth and its display; it does not establish that these five watches passed a particular independent test. The water-resistance and material performance figures above are Panerai’s stated specifications and claims.
