What is the Farer Lissom collection?
Lissom is Farer’s five-watch interpretation of the dress watch, using dial color and detail rather than a strictly formal, minimal look. The brand says “Lissom” means slim or graceful and describes the collection as watches that “break the rules on what it means to be a dress watch.” That is Farer’s positioning, not an independent assessment of the collection.
Farer highlights satin-textured dials, organic colors, radially mounted numerals, tapered hands and Grade X2 Super-LumiNova. Together, those choices give the watches a more expressive look while retaining a relatively restrained case design. Farer lists the collection case at 38 mm in diameter and 7.95 mm thick. The cases have angled lugs and an engraved keyline on the sides; Farer describes the bezel and lug tops as polished, with brushed case sides. Its claims that the proportions are “ideal” or wrist-hugging are brand language, not a guarantee of fit.

For the Solander, Farer also lists a 42.8 mm lug-to-lug distance and 20 mm lug width. The former helps indicate how far the watch spans across the wrist; the latter is the measurement to check when selecting a replacement strap. Individual wrist shape and preferred fit still matter. What movement is in the Farer Lissom?
Farer specifies a hand-wound La Joux-Perret D100 movement based on the Peseux 7001. Its published specifications are 18 jewels, a 3 Hz beat rate (21,600 vibrations per hour) and approximately 50 hours of power reserve. Hand-wound means the wearer winds the watch by turning its crown; it is not an automatic movement that winds itself through wrist motion.

What are the Solander’s crystal and water-resistance specifications?
The Solander listing specifies a 316L stainless-steel case, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and water resistance of 50 m / 5 ATM. That is a published rating, not a blanket assurance that the watch is suitable for every water activity. What straps and editions are available?
Standard Solander
Farer’s Solander listing shows suede leather and other strap selections, including a Milanese bracelet. Options can change, so check the live product listing before choosing. With a 20 mm lug width, the Solander’s stated strap fit is 20 mm; verify compatibility before buying any replacement.
Dial Artist limited editions
Farer presented a separate Dial Artist release as a launch collaboration with artist Chris Alexander. Its listing says each of five named models received a hand-painted flower motif, with only one unit of each model available with that unique artwork. When Farer’s listing was accessed in 2026, it showed the Solander at £1,150.
