The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Tech Ocean Commitment IV is a 45 mm titanium dive watch, reference 5029A 12B30 64A, limited to 100 pieces. Its official US listing gives a price of US$26,000, subject to clasp choice, and currently marks the watch sold out. Blancpain says €1,000 from each watch sold is allocated to the Blancpain × Sulubaaï Marine Research Center.
What is the Ocean Commitment IV?
It is a limited-edition version of Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms Tech, identified by reference 5029A 12B30 64A. The 45 mm case is titanium, with a black ceramic bezel insert, rubber strap and an absolute-black dial. Blancpain describes the edition as 100 pieces.
The watch is built around the brand’s technical dive-watch format rather than being a separate model family. Its stated water resistance is 30 bar, equivalent to 300 metres under the conventional pressure conversion. The bezel is unidirectional for elapsed-time tracking; Blancpain’s launch material also describes a helium valve.

Blancpain characterizes the dial and bezel design as providing “optimal readability”; that is the manufacturer’s description, not an independently measured performance result. The 14.1 mm thickness and 45 mm diameter are substantial dimensions, so wrist fit is worth considering in person, particularly if you prefer a compact daily diver.

Price and availability
Blancpain’s US product page lists the watch at US$26,000 and notes that the price may vary depending on whether it is supplied with a pin buckle or folding clasp. The page currently labels it “Sold out.” Both price and availability can change, and the listing does not establish whether an authorized boutique or another retailer has stock.
What does the ocean commitment fund?
Blancpain says €1,000 per watch sold will be allocated to the Blancpain × Sulubaaï Marine Research Center, contributing to a total fund of €100,000. The March 2025 brand release presents the allocation as support for the center’s operations and activities. The stated purpose is to help fund marine research and conservation work; the official sources cited here do not independently audit transfers or report measured conservation outcomes.

What comes with the watch?
Blancpain says each example is supplied with a Pelicase box, a donation certificate and one of 100 numbered special-edition photographs by Laurent Ballesta. The photograph is matched to the watch’s serial number. The pictured horseshoe crab, according to Blancpain, was photographed in its natural habitat around Pangatalan Island.

Don’t confuse it with the later Fifty Fathoms Tech
