The case is stainless steel, paired with a fixed, fluted bezel in 18-karat white gold. Its dark burgundy-tone dial has sunray decoration, black chronograph counters, white luminescent Arabic numerals, vintage-shaped hands and a tachymeter scale with a base of 1000. A dark burgundy calf-leather strap with alligator print is supplied and described as interchangeable.
How does the split-second chronograph work?
A split-second chronograph, also called a rattrapante, uses two central chronograph hands. They start together; pressing the split-second control stops one hand to record an intermediate time, while the other continues measuring the longer interval. The stopped hand can then catch up with the moving hand. This lets the wearer note a lap or another event without stopping the overall timing.

At 44 mm wide and 15.2 mm tall, it has substantial stated dimensions. Those figures are a useful starting point for judging fit, but wrist comfort depends on more than diameter and height.
