Parmigiani Fleurier’s Mineral Blue TONDA PF Sport Chronograph Ultra-Cermet, announced on 30 June 2026, is a new colour and material execution of a chronograph concept the brand had already documented in 2025. Its 42.5 mm case, fluted bezel, crown, pushers and pin buckle are made from the maker’s titanium-and-titanium-carbide Ultra-Cermet; the dial pairs black and Mineral Blue, with a matching rubber strap. Official specifications include 100 m water resistance and an automatic, COSC-certified 5 Hz chronograph movement with a 65-hour reserve. Those are manufacturer-published claims and figures, not independent test results.
What is new about the Mineral Blue edition?
The Mineral Blue watch is a 2026 expression of the TONDA PF Sport Chronograph Ultra-Cermet, not the first Ultra-Cermet chronograph from Parmigiani Fleurier. The brand’s 2025 novelty catalogue documents an earlier version of the concept. In 2026, the press archive listed a Silver Verzasca TONDA PF Sport Chronograph on 26 March, followed by the Mineral Blue announcement on 30 June. The clearest change specific to Mineral Blue is the exterior treatment: a satin-finished dial combining Blackor and Mineral Blue, hand-applied 18-carat gold appliques treated in Blackor, and a matching Mineral Blue rubber strap. The brand’s Mineral Blue product page and launch materials identify these details. The case and hardware continue the Ultra-Cermet approach rather than introducing a new material concept.
What does Ultra-Cermet mean here?
Parmigiani Fleurier describes Ultra-Cermet as a titanium and titanium-carbide material produced through sintering. The brand identifies the 42.5 mm case, fluted bezel, crown, chronograph pushers and pin buckle as Ultra-Cermet components. Its TONDA PF Sport collection page gives an approximate hardness of 1450 HV.

Parmigiani presents the PF070-CSND as an integrated chronograph. COSC certification and the listed frequency and reserve describe the maker’s stated movement specification; they do not establish the performance of an individual watch outside the certification process.
Price, warranty and availability
The official Mineral Blue product page lists CHF 40,400. That is the price displayed by the manufacturer in Swiss francs, not a confirmed universal or tax-inclusive price for every market. The available material establishes the watch’s announced colourway, the brand’s stated material composition, and its published case and movement specifications. It does not include hands-on assessment, independent timing results, or an independent quantified test of Ultra-Cermet’s hardness or wear. The brand’s collection page characterizes its design outlook as “superbly elegant” and quotes CEO Guido Terreni describing the aim as creating timepieces for “the purists of tomorrow”; that is brand positioning rather than an independent evaluation.
