YEMA’s current listing calls its Sellita-powered diver the Superman Heritage. It revives the look of the 1970s reference 53.00.16 and is offered in 39 mm and 41 mm case sizes. The movement is a Swiss Sellita SW200-1—not YEMA’s separate CMM.10 Manufacture caliber—and YEMA says the Swiss series is manufactured and assembled by a partner in Biel/Bienne.
What is the YEMA Superman Swiss Edition?
“Swiss Edition” is the name used in the launch-era coverage; YEMA’s current product page identifies the watch as the Superman Heritage. The official listing describes it as a reissue of the 1970s reference 53.00.16. Its design is paired with a contemporary automatic movement and modern materials, including a double-domed sapphire crystal and a 300-metre water-resistance rating.
A dated secondary reference, ReuelMag’s video published on 2025-02-21, framed the Sellita model as a new, accessible Superman release. YEMA’s current product and collection pages confirm the model and specifications but do not state when it first launched, so the 2025 date is the date of that coverage, not a verified launch date.

Where is the Swiss Edition made?
YEMA states that its Swiss-caliber series is manufactured and assembled by a Swiss partner in Biel/Bienne, while the brand’s own workshops are in Morteau, France. The product page puts the distinction plainly: “Equipped with a Sellita SW200-1 caliber, this edition is manufactured and assembled in Biel (Switzerland).” That is YEMA’s description of its production arrangement, rather than an independent verification of the manufacturing process.
How does it differ from a French Manufacture Superman?
YEMA also offers Superman watches with its CMM.10 Manufacture movement. That is a different model offering, not the caliber inside the Sellita Swiss Edition. The published reserve figures are 38 hours for the SW200-1 and 70 hours for the CMM.10; the larger reserve is a specification difference, not enough by itself to establish that one movement is objectively better.
