The DOXA SUB 300T Professional Aristera puts the crown at 9 o’clock instead of the usual 3, making it the brand’s first automatic SUB designed for left-handed wearers. It pairs that left-side crown with the orange-dial Professional configuration, a 300-piece limit and a manufacturer-stated 1,200-meter water-resistance rating. This first look is based on DOXA’s published specifications, not hands-on testing.
What makes the SUB 300T Aristera different?
The crown is the defining change: it is screw-down and positioned at 9 o’clock. DOXA describes the watch as “the first SUB automatic in the brand’s history to be designed for left-handers, with the crown on the left side of the case.” The official collection page also identifies the left-crown layout as a first for the brand.
DOXA offers the Professional Aristera exclusively with an orange dial. Its aluminum bezel insert, according to the manufacturer, pays homage to a design introduced by Aubry Frères in the 1980s. The unidirectional bezel has a scale in feet.

What the dimensions and layout mean for buyers
At 42.50 mm across, 44.50 mm long and 13.65 mm thick, the listed case measurements give a more useful starting point than diameter alone when considering fit. DOXA’s product page does not establish how the watch wears on a particular wrist, so buyers should compare the measurements with a watch they already find comfortable or try it on through a retailer.
The left-side crown is intended to suit left-handed use, but wrist preference is personal. It may also appeal to someone who simply prefers a crown positioned away from the back of the hand when wearing a watch on the left wrist. That is a layout consideration, not a claim about comfort confirmed by wear testing.
Bracelet, strap and limited-edition details
The watch is listed with a stainless-steel beads-of-rice bracelet and a separate NATO strap, giving the owner two included configurations.
