For the 2021-generation Omega Speedmaster Professional with caliber 3861, choose the Forstner Flat Link’s post-2021 20 mm end-link version. Forstner distinguishes that fitment from its pre-2021 20 mm end links, which are for the earlier Speedmaster Professional case. The bracelet is offered in Original and Contemporary constructions; the end-link generation is the first choice to get right.
Which Forstner end links fit the 2021 Speedmaster?
Forstner identifies the post-2021 20 mm end links as the fit for the new caliber 3861 Speedmaster Professional. Its pre-2021 20 mm end links are intended for the earlier case. The distinction applies to both the Original and Contemporary Flat Link options: choosing the Contemporary bracelet does not change the required end-link generation.
Omega’s product sheet identifies reference 310.30.42.50.01.002 as a Speedmaster with caliber 3861. Forstner’s fitment page is the direct source for bracelet compatibility; the available statement is not a reference-by-reference test report for every individual watch. If your watch reference or case generation is uncertain, confirm it with Forstner before ordering.

Original vs. Contemporary: what changes?
Both bracelets use solid 316L stainless steel, a single-screw link-removal system, and the 20 mm post-2021 fitment option. Their key differences are in link shape, articulation and clasp design.

Choose the Original if you want its spring-loaded articulation and pressure clasp. The Contemporary suits a preference for more substantial links and a milled push-button clasp. Both are available with the post-2021 20 mm fitment specified for the 3861 Speedmaster.

What to know before installing it
The end links arrive unattached to the bracelet, so they need to be fitted during installation. Forstner says Omega spring bars do not always work: some are designed for straps rather than bracelets, and some may be too thick. The company recommends the supplied 1.8 mm spring bars, particularly if Omega bars are difficult to install. The spring bars and sizing screwdriver are included.
The bracelet’s links use a single-screw system for removal and adjustment. Forstner gives an approximate 120–180 mm adjustment range; treat that as the manufacturer’s stated range rather than a guarantee of fit for every wrist or preferred clasp position.
