It is an automatic Franck Muller watch built around three independent rotating indicators. Rather than attaching visible hands to a central pinion, the design uses discs that appear to float above the dial; triangular indicators show the time. The name reflects the progression of that display: the original Mystery used a rotating disc for hours, the Double Mystery added a minute disc, and the Round Triple Mystery adds a seconds disc. The result is an unconventional way to read all three units of time without traditional hands.
How does the three-disc display tell time?
Each disc rotates independently and carries an indicator that aligns with the relevant scale on the dial. Read the hour, minute and second indicators together to get the time. Because the indicators sit on separate discs, they can look detached from the central movement rather than joined by visible hands.

The seconds disc is a notable part of the engineering. In its 2025 announcement, Franck Muller says its skeletonised aluminium structure weighs 0.052 grams. That figure is the manufacturer’s reported specification, not an independent measurement. The brand says the lightweight structure helps the disc perform without compromising the design. What are the reported specifications?
Specifications depend on the exact configuration. Europa Star’s November 2025 technical summary, which recaps a press release, describes a 39 mm-wide, 10.05 mm-thick case in 18k rose or white gold, set with 120 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 3.90 carats. It also lists a dial set with 237 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.96 carats and a triangular gemstone index.
