Time+Tide announced on 31 January 2026 that a limited, curated selection of Frederique Constant watches had arrived at its London Watch Discovery Studio, where visitors could try on and purchase the watches. The announcement highlighted Classic Moonphase Manufacture and Classics Premiere models. It described the selection as limited in time and numbers; current stock is not established, so check with the studio before making a visit specifically to see a particular watch.
What the studio announcement included
The retailer’s 31 January 2026 announcement presented the watches as a curated, limited selection for hands-on discovery and purchase at the London studio. At the time, Time+Tide also said the full curated range was available through its online shop. That statement records availability at publication, not current inventory.
The announcement followed an earlier Frederique Constant and Time+Tide collaboration launched about eight weeks before; it was not presented as the brands’ first collaboration. The studio setting makes the news most relevant to shoppers who want to handle the watches and compare their proportions, dials and wearing options in person.
Which Frederique Constant watches were highlighted?
Classic Moonphase Manufacture
The announcement describes the Classic Moonphase Manufacture with silver sunburst and forest-green sunburst dial options. For the model described, it gives a 40 mm polished stainless-steel case and FC-716 calibre. A sapphire exhibition caseback shows the automatic rotor and finishing.
#1 Best Overall
- The Classics Quartz Moonphase timepiece is the embodiment of one of Frederique Constant's most iconic designs.
- Hours, Minutes, Moonphase
- Silver-Tone Stainless Steel Case and Navy Blue Leather Embossed Strap
- Anti-Reflective Sapphire Crystal
- 50M Water Resistant and 3 Year Limited Warranty
The article also identifies a date-only version with a salmon sunray dial. It separately describes the green-dial Classic Moonphase as an automatic model powered by the FC-718 calibre. These are distinct descriptions in the announcement, so the FC-718 should not be treated as the calibre for the FC-716 specifications above.
Classics Premiere
The Classics Premiere models highlighted have blue dials, a 38.5 mm stainless-steel case and a choice of polished Breguet-style or Roman numerals. The announcement lists a jubilee-style multi-link bracelet or an alligator-patterned leather strap as wearing options.
Rank #2

How to compare the styles
| Option | Dial and display | Case size stated in announcement | Other details highlighted |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic Moonphase Manufacture | Silver or forest-green sunburst; moonphase | 40 mm | Polished stainless steel; FC-716 calibre; sapphire exhibition caseback |
| Date-only variant | Salmon sunray; date-only | Not stated in the announcement | Distinct from the moonphase display |
| Green-dial Classic Moonphase | Forest-green sunburst; moonphase | Not stated for this variant in the announcement | Automatic FC-718 calibre |
| Classics Premiere | Blue; Breguet-style or Roman numerals | 38.5 mm | Multi-link bracelet or alligator-patterned leather strap |
For a direct comparison, consider whether you prefer a moonphase display or a date-only dial, then compare the stated case sizes and the Classics Premiere’s numeral and strap choices. The 40 mm and 38.5 mm figures come from the retailer’s announcement; it does not provide a case size for each separately described variant.

Time+Tide describes its studios as hands-on spaces where visitors can try and compare watches, browse curated brands and selections, talk with knowledgeable staff, and attend launches or events. Its current Watch Discovery Studios page lists locations in Melbourne, London and New York. Addresses, opening hours and available watches can change, so use that page to plan a visit and confirm that a specific model is on hand.

The studio concept has also included temporary brand showcases and partner-supported experiences and events, as described in Time+Tide’s 1 September 2023 account of the studio. That history offers context for the format, but does not establish current partnership terms or a continuing Frederique Constant display.
