The G-Shock GMW-B5000TCF-2 “Blue Camo” was offered for preorder in August 2020, with an estimated ship date of September 3, 2020. That is a historical announcement, not a current offer: Casio now labels the watch an “Old Model,” and current stock has not been verified.
What the GMW-B5000TCF-2 is
The GMW-B5000TCF-2 is a titanium take on G-SHOCK’s square GMW-B5000, distinguished by blue ion plating and a laser-etched camouflage pattern. Casio says the pattern uses three sizes of dots to vary the color tone. The finish is Casio’s description of the product, rather than an independently tested coating claim. Casio’s official product page identifies the reference as an old model.
Casio describes titanium as a way to reduce the weight of the metal components and lists resin cushioning between the bezel and case as part of the shock-resistant construction. The watch has a screw-lock back and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.

What the 2020 preorder announcement said
Time+Tide’s August 22, 2020 report said the GMW-B5000TCF-2 was available for preorder at a US RRP of $1,700, with estimated shipping on September 3, 2020. Those figures describe that announcement only; they are not a current price or confirmation that the model can still be ordered. Read the original Time+Tide report.
How it differs from the GMW-B5000TCM-1
The blue TCF-2 should not be confused with the earlier green-camouflage GMW-B5000TCM-1. Time+Tide described the blue treatment as the distinction from that predecessor. In a November 4, 2019 announcement, Casio America listed the TCM-1 with a US retail price of $1,600 and described its titanium construction, laser camouflage print, Bluetooth, Multi Band 6, and Tough Solar.
