The watch’s central design detail is its bezel engraving. Casio’s feature page credits metalsmith KOBAYASHI Masao with handcrafting a phoenix motif into the bezel. Casio says the bezel and case use titanium with deep-layer hardening and a green DLC coating. The dark blue-green bezel color references kurogane-iro, or “iron color,” in the manufacturer’s explanation. Casio also connects the detailed components to Yamagata Casio’s ultra-precision processing. These are Casio’s descriptions of its design and production; they should not be taken as independent performance evaluations.
Size, weight and materials
The official specification page gives the watch a 54.7 × 49.8 × 16.9 mm case and a listed weight of 138 g. Its band is Dura Soft rubber, a contrast to the metal case and bezel. The dimensions indicate a substantial case, so wrist fit is worth checking in person where possible, especially for wearers who prefer compact watches.

G-SHOCK Singapore’s official release page states that the MRG-B2000KT is limited to 800 pieces worldwide. That is the stated production quantity, not a count of watches currently available for sale.
