Check compatibility before ordering
Apple Watch Ultra models use a 49 mm case, but a seller’s stated compatibility still matters: a case-and-band assembly must fit the watch body and attach correctly. ULTIMAL and Ringke list products for Ultra, Ultra 2, and Ultra 3 at 49 mm; amBand’s M4 listing likewise names Ultra 3, Ultra 2, and Ultra at 49 mm.

Do not use compatibility for Apple’s official bands as proof that a third-party protective assembly fits. Apple’s Ocean Band page says that band is designed for Apple Watch Ultra and lists 44 mm, 45 mm, 46 mm, and 49 mm compatibility; those dimensions do not establish compatibility for a third-party case-and-band.
Band dimensions can also affect fit. RHINOSHIELD says its own Ultra 49 mm case works with Apple’s official bands and most third-party bands, while warning that it cannot guarantee every strap will work well because dimensions vary. That guidance applies to RHINOSHIELD’s case, not the unidentified shield band.
