1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesDutch retailer Mobiel briefly opened pre-orders for the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Watch FE in June 2024, listing the 40mm Bluetooth watch at €219.95. The listing was removed; Samsung announced the watch on June 13 and later put its Dutch recommended retail price at €219. The retailer’s figure was a credible early clue, not a global price or proof of a completed pre-launch sale.
What Mobiel’s listing showed
Mobiel, a Dutch retailer, briefly presented the Galaxy Watch FE as available to pre-order before Samsung had formally announced it. The listing reportedly said deliveries would begin “as soon as possible,” without giving a firm release date. It was subsequently removed. Contemporary coverage reported the listing; it does not establish that customers received watches before launch. Android Headlines’ June 2024 report
- Price: €219.95.
- Configuration: 40mm Bluetooth model; the page did not show a 44mm option.
- Colors: black, pink gold, and silver with a light-blue strap.
The leak mattered because it put a concrete Dutch price, size and color selection in view just before Samsung’s announcement. It also made the FE look like a compact, less expensive route into Samsung’s watch lineup rather than a new flagship. At the time, the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra were expected to occupy the higher end of Samsung’s 2024 range; that was launch-period context, not a statement about today’s lineup.
How the €219.95 price compares with Samsung’s official prices
Before launch, some reports had suggested a price closer to €199. Samsung’s Netherlands newsroom later listed a recommended retail price of €219, closely corroborating Mobiel’s €219.95 figure without making the retailer listing an official Samsung announcement. The small difference is consistent with the listing being broadly accurate, but it does not establish one identical price for every European market. Samsung Netherlands announcement

| Price reference | Model or market | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| €219.95 | Mobiel’s Dutch pre-order listing | Retailer-listed price reported in June 2024; not a global MSRP. Android Headlines |
| €219 | Samsung Netherlands recommended retail price | Official Dutch price announced after the listing. Samsung Netherlands |
| $199.99 | U.S. Bluetooth model | Samsung U.S. MSRP in its December 2024 wearables price file. Samsung MSRP file |
| $249.99 | U.S. LTE model | Separate U.S. MSRP in the same December 2024 file; this was not the configuration shown in Mobiel’s listing. Samsung MSRP file |
These figures are market- and model-specific. A direct euro-to-dollar comparison would obscure regional pricing and tax differences, and the leaked €219.95 should not be applied to the LTE model.
What Samsung confirmed after the leak
Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch FE on June 13, 2024, the same date as the contemporary report about Mobiel’s listing. Samsung said U.S. Bluetooth availability would begin June 24, with an LTE version to follow. The announcement confirmed a 40mm watch in black, pink gold and silver, but its specifications describe the U.S. product and should not be treated as a universal specification sheet. Samsung’s European announcement reports some different regional details, including a 26.6g weight and different compatibility wording. Consult the market-specific page rather than combining regional figures into one universal specification. Contemporary reporting also described the FE as sharing much of its hardware platform with the Galaxy Watch 4; that was a media characterization, not Samsung’s official description of the product. This is a historical pre-launch listing, not a current 2026 launch or deal. Samsung’s March 2025 U.S. MSRP file marks Galaxy Watch FE variants “EOL,” indicating end-of-life status in that document. That notation does not, by itself, prove that every retailer stopped selling the watch or that Samsung issued a public discontinuation announcement. Samsung March 2025 MSRP file

- Consider it if a compact 40mm Samsung watch at a low price suits your needs and the particular listing has acceptable condition, returns and warranty.
- Look elsewhere if newer hardware, a larger case or a longer remaining software-support runway matters more; the EOL notation is a reason to verify support expectations rather than assume them.
