The images were credited to Evan Blass (@evleaks), not released as an official Samsung product announcement. Samsung later confirmed the products and their launch details on July 24, 2024.
What did the leaked Galaxy Watch and Buds renders appear to show?
The June 27 images offered a visual preview, but they should be read as leaks rather than authoritative specifications. Android Central described the images as official-looking renders attributed to Evan Blass; SamMobile also reported on the render leak that day. Neither report made the images an official Samsung reveal.
Galaxy Watch Ultra: a more rugged-looking design
The Watch Ultra renders appeared to show a squarish case around a circular display, with orange accents and an orange band in some images. They also showed multiple physical controls, including one that appeared to rotate. SamMobile described leaked color combinations including silver with a white band, dark gray or black, and black with an orange band. Those are render descriptions, not confirmation of the final lineup in every market.
Galaxy Watch7: closer to the preceding design
The Watch7 image looked more like the preceding Galaxy Watch design than the squarish-looking Ultra. SamMobile described renders in silver with a white band, green, and cream. As with the Ultra, the images indicated possible styling rather than a definitive regional color or configuration list.

Galaxy Buds3: stems, with apparent differences in ear tips
The Buds3 images appeared to show stem-style earbuds. Contemporary reporting inferred that the standard Buds3 might not have silicone tips, while the Buds3 Pro appeared to have them. That distinction came from interpreting the renders; Samsung’s later official product naming instead identifies the Buds3 as Open Type and the Buds3 Pro as Canal Type.
Were the Galaxy Watch7, Watch Ultra and Buds3 official?
Not when the renders surfaced on June 27, 2024. They were leak reports ahead of Galaxy Unpacked on July 10. Samsung subsequently announced global availability on July 24, 2024, confirming the products and the following launch details:

The most useful takeaway from the leak is the apparent design contrast: the Watch Ultra looked more rugged and angular, while the Watch7 looked closer to the previous watch design. For the earbuds, the renders suggested a move to stems, but Samsung’s official Open Type and Canal Type labels are the firmer basis for distinguishing Buds3 from Buds3 Pro.
