The Gerald Charles Masterlink is the Maison’s first asymmetrical watch with an integrated bracelet, introduced at Watches & Wonders 2024. It carries the curved “smile” associated with the Maestro, but its case is based on a square rather than the Maestro’s rectangular shape. Its dial, movement and complications depend on the version: the Masterlink Silver is a time-only model, while the collection now also includes Perpetual Calendar editions.
How the Masterlink relates to the Maestro
Gerald Charles describes the Masterlink as a development of the Maestro case. Both share the distinctive curve at six o’clock, but the Masterlink has a square basis and an integrated bracelet; it is not simply a Maestro fitted with a bracelet. The Maison says the design lineage reaches back to a bespoke watch Gérald Charles Genta created in 2007 for the Royal family of Sarawak. That origin account is the brand’s own history of the design.
The Masterlink was announced at Watches & Wonders in 2024 as Gerald Charles’s first asymmetrical integrated-bracelet watch. The case combines polygonal geometry and softened edges, with polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The 2024 release announcement and the Masterlink Silver product page describe the design and its relationship to the Maestro.
Masterlink Silver specifications
The Silver is a useful reference for the collection’s time-only configuration, but its specifications should not be applied to every Masterlink. Gerald Charles lists the following for this model:

What changes between Masterlink versions
The line has expanded beyond the original time-only proposition. Gerald Charles’s Masterlink collection page lists Perpetual Calendar models with different dial treatments. The 2026 versions use a separate complication and movement, so their functions, construction and prices should not be conflated with the Silver’s GCA1000 specifications.

In its announcement, Gerald Charles said: “In 400 years, a Swiss watchmaking company has never before introduced an in-house, asymmetrical, automatic perpetual calendar calibre with a three-counter display.” This is the brand’s claim about the Masterlink Perpetual Calendar, not an independently established industry finding and not a description of the original 2024 time-only model. The March 31, 2026 announcement provides the brand’s details.
Bracelet design and availability
Gerald Charles describes concealed link construction and a concealed butterfly-type clasp for the Masterlink Boutique Edition. The Maison presents comfort as a design aim; that is not a substitute for an individual fit assessment. Do not assume that every bracelet variant uses identical construction. The Boutique Edition page identifies that model as limited and exclusive to Gerald Charles boutiques in Nagoya and Geneva.
For other versions, Gerald Charles directs prospective buyers to authorized retailers. The published pages do not establish live stock by retailer or region, so availability must be confirmed locally.
