If the watch is frozen or shows a blank screen
Try the least destructive steps first:
- Press and hold the crown for about three seconds.
- Scroll down and tap Restart.
If the watch does not respond, perform a hard reset by holding the crown and side button for approximately 35 seconds, or until the Google “G” logo appears.

Factory-reset the watch
A factory reset can erase apps, settings, and locally stored watch data. It also requires the watch to be paired with the phone again. Google may ask for the most recent PIN or Google Account credentials as an anti-theft safeguard.

- Swipe down and open Settings.
- Tap Disconnect & reset.
- Confirm the reset.
From the phone:
- Open the Google Pixel Watch app.
- Tap System.
- Tap Reset and unpair watch.

- Hold the crown and side button for about 20 seconds until the “G” logo appears.
- Tap the upper-left and lower-right edges of the screen simultaneously to enter Fastboot.
- Use the side button to highlight Recovery Mode.
- Press the crown.
- At the “No Command” screen, hold the crown and swipe up.
- Select Wipe Data or Factory Reset.
