What is the Grand Seiko Green Birch SLGH011?
SLGH011 is Grand Seiko’s “Green Birch” Evolution 9 Hi-Beat 36000 automatic watch. It takes the birch-family dial concept in a different color direction: rather than a pale, bark-like look, its deep green dial represents the summer greenery of birch forests near the Shizukuishi studio, according to Grand Seiko.
The name refers to the dial’s forest inspiration, not to a green case or bracelet. The case and bracelet are stainless steel.
How Grand Seiko describes the Green Birch dial
Grand Seiko Thailand’s September 9, 2022 article says the green dial evokes the lush foliage of birch forest in summer. The brand describes making the surface by pressing a 0.5 mm brass dial plate seven times at low pressure, then applying repeated green coloring and clear coating. This is Grand Seiko’s account of the dial’s construction.

The result is a patterned, textured surface rather than a flat green field. The dial is paired with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, according to the official boutique specifications.

Is the Grand Seiko SLGH011 available?
At access on October 8, 2026, the official US boutique listed the watch at $9,800 and marked it out of stock. The official UK boutique listed it at £8,950 and also marked it out of stock. These are regional page snapshots, not guaranteed current prices or inventory.
The UK product page states: “This timepiece is only available from official Grand Seiko online boutiques worldwide.” That is the page’s distribution wording; it does not establish current stock at every boutique. Check the relevant official regional listing for current availability.
