T1374071109100) is a 40 mm time-only automatic, while the PRX Automatic Chronograph (ref. T1374271109100) is a 42 mm automatic with stopwatch counters. The Powermatic is smaller, thinner and has the longer manufacturer-listed power reserve; the chronograph adds elapsed-time functions and a thicker case.

Which one makes more sense for you?
Choose the Powermatic 80 for a slimmer, simpler daily watch
The 40 mm Powermatic 80 is the more compact option, at 10.93 mm thick and 138 g according to Tissot. Its dark-green dial has a honeycomb pattern. It displays the time and date, and its Swiss automatic movement is listed with an 80-hour power reserve and a Nivachron balance spring. The longer reserve is a specification, not a claim about measured accuracy or performance.
Choose the chronograph if you will use the timing functions
The 42 mm PRX Automatic Chronograph adds a central 60-second chronograph hand and counters for 12 hours, 30 minutes and 60 seconds. Its Valjoux A05.H31 automatic movement has a Tissot-listed 68-hour power reserve. At 14.54 mm thick and 184 g, it is both thicker and heavier than the Powermatic model in the manufacturer’s published figures.

Bracelets and fit: check the reference before ordering
Tissot lists a quick-release stainless-steel bracelet on each watch, but the bracelet references differ: T605046447 for the Powermatic 80 and T605047903 for the chronograph. Do not assume that a bracelet or third-party strap fits both watches just because they belong to the PRX family. Confirm compatibility with the exact watch reference or the accessory listing before buying.
Tissot identifies 12 mm lug width for the Powermatic and 13 mm for the chronograph. These figures alone do not establish whether a generic strap will attach to either integrated-bracelet case.

Are these models newly released?
Tissot’s current product pages confirm the two references and their specifications, but they do not establish a 2026 release date. The available Tissot pressroom material offers historical collection context rather than evidence that these exact watches have just launched. Both models share a 316L stainless-steel case, sapphire crystal, see-through caseback and 10 bar (100 m / 330 ft) stated water resistance. These are manufacturer specifications. They do not, by themselves, establish independent test results, real-world accuracy or how either watch wears on your wrist. If size is decisive, try the watches on or compare their dimensions with a watch you already own.
