The rich brick-red NATO strap carries the color theme onto the wrist. These are the edition’s defining details, rather than a claim that it changes the underlying Khaki Field Mechanical formula.
Hamilton describes the Khaki Field Mechanical as a faithful recreation of its original 1960s forebear and connects the line to the brand’s military heritage. That is Hamilton’s own account of the collection’s history and positioning; it is not separate proof of the Lancaster edition’s history.

The 20 mm lug width is useful if you are considering another NATO strap, but confirm the strap’s fit and what is included with the watch before buying an accessory. Hamilton’s 5 bar (50 m) rating is the stated water-resistance figure; it should not be read as a guarantee for any particular activity.

Price and how it compares with the standard 38 mm model
Hamilton’s US collection page lists a standard Khaki Field Mechanical 38 mm at $675, compared with $745 for the Lancaster edition. That is a $70 difference in listed US price. The supported distinctions are the Lancaster dial and caseback design and the edition’s store-only status; the available product information does not establish that every other component is identical between the two listings.
Time and Watches reported an indicative CHF 595 price for the special editions in 2026. That is secondary, market-specific context, not a US price or a current official quote.
