The Chronoswiss Pulse One Sand is a 41 mm Grade 5 titanium watch with an integrated titanium bracelet and a regulator-style display: hours sit off-center at 12 o’clock, minutes are central, and a retrograde seconds hand sweeps an arc at 6 o’clock before resetting every 30 seconds. Its distinctive display and limited run of 100 pieces make it an unusually characterful sports watch; whether it is worth its price depends on your taste for that layout, its fit on your wrist, and the price offered in your market.
What makes the Pulse One Sand distinctive?
The Sand is reference CH-6823T-BRSI. Chronoswiss also offers a Blue version, CH-6823T-BLSI; the colors are the central distinction established in the available product information, not a difference in technical performance.
Its display is regulator-style rather than the conventional arrangement of hour, minute, and seconds hands sharing a central point. The separate indications give the dial a more architectural look, while the retrograde seconds hand adds a visible mechanical flourish.
How the retrograde seconds work
At 6 o’clock, the seconds hand moves along a curved scale rather than circling the dial continuously. Chronoswiss says it resets to the beginning every 30 seconds. “Retrograde” describes that return to the start of the scale; the 30-second cycle is the brand’s stated operation for this watch.

#1 Best Overall
- PT5000 HIGH-BEAT AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT: Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour for a smooth mechanical display, the PT5000 supports automatic winding, manual winding and hacking seconds for time setting. Power reserve is approximately 38–40 hours when fully wound.
- SUNRAY NO-DATE DIAL: Applied hour markers add depth to the clean three-hand layout. Blue and white dials use BGW-9 blue lume, while the vintage black dial uses C3 green lume. Luminous hands and markers support reading in low light after sufficient exposure to light.
- COMPACT 36MM PROPORTIONS: The case measures 36mm in diameter, 44.1mm lug to lug and 10.45mm thick, creating a restrained fit for smaller wrists or buyers who prefer classic dimensions. The lug width is 19mm, and the stainless steel bracelet is approximately 19.5cm long.
- SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL AND 100M WATER RESISTANCE: Sapphire crystal with AR coating helps protect the dial and reduce reflections. A screw-down crown and case back support 100M water resistance for daily wear and surface swimming when fully secured; not intended for scuba diving.
- 316L STEEL CASE AND FIVE-LINK BRACELET: The stainless steel case pairs a smooth fixed bezel with brushed and polished finishing. A tapered solid five-link steel bracelet completes the compact sports-watch profile and closes with a folding clasp.
Case, bracelet, and dimensions
Chronoswiss specifies a Grade 5 titanium case and integrated titanium bracelet. The official technical sheet gives the following dimensions:
| Specification | Chronoswiss figure |
|---|---|
| Case diameter | 41 mm |
| Case height | 12.75 mm |
| Lug-to-lug | 46.27 mm |
| Lug width | 23 mm |
These measurements help frame the watch, but they do not establish how it will fit every wrist. The integrated bracelet, rather than a conventional strap attachment, is part of the design and should be considered when comparing fit or planning alternatives.
What the hands-on review noticed
Fratello’s reviewer described the bracelet as organic and supple, with polished areas between brushed links. The review also noted screws rather than pins and a butterfly clasp that sits into the underside of the links. Those are the reviewer’s wearing observations, not universal comfort guarantees or independent measurements.

Movement and practical specifications
The automatic C.6001 is specified with 31 jewels, a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 semi-oscillations per hour), and a 55-hour power reserve. Chronoswiss says the movement was developed with La Joux-Perret and introduced in 2023. The brand also identifies ruthenium plating, a tungsten rotor, and radially arranged Côtes de Genève finishing as movement features.
Chronoswiss lists water resistance at 100 m / 10 bar and limits the edition to 100 pieces. Water-resistance ratings describe a specification, not a guarantee that a watch will remain safe in every real-world water activity; follow the manufacturer’s care guidance and ensure the watch is in suitable condition before exposure.
Sand or Blue?
The two versions share the reported 41 mm Grade 5 titanium integrated-bracelet platform and 100-piece edition size. Choose between them primarily by dial color and treatment, and by which version you prefer to wear. The available source material does not establish a technical-performance advantage for either color.

Price and buying context
There is no single universal price in the published listings. Chronoswiss’s official US product page lists $14,300, its Swiss page lists CHF 11,800, and the French/European official page surfaced for the model lists €12,900. Eiko Watch Co., Ltd.’s 2025 Japanese launch announcement gives a suggested price of ¥2,585,000 including tax for each color variant. These figures are market- and source-specific; check the relevant regional listing for a current price before buying.
The official US page describes a sequence of reservation, allocation, and final purchase. Its launch-phase copy showed a $250 reservation and a $2,500 allocation deposit, and said initial pieces were ready for delivery within four weeks. Those are details from that page’s purchase-phase description, not confirmation of present availability or terms; consult the live official listing before placing an order.

It makes the strongest case for itself if you specifically want a titanium integrated-bracelet watch with a separated regulator display and a retrograde seconds indication. The 55-hour reserve, stated 100 m water resistance, and limited edition round out the specification, but the defining attraction is the design rather than a demonstrated performance edge over the Blue version.
Before deciding, compare the regional asking price with watches you are actually considering and assess the points that specifications cannot settle: whether the separated dial is easy for you to read, how the 46.27 mm lug-to-lug sits on your wrist, and whether the bracelet and clasp suit your preferences. Fratello reported a three-year warranty with online registration; verify current warranty terms directly with Chronoswiss rather than assuming that report remains the current policy.
