The Dual Time’s two displays are a functional distinction, not just a dial treatment: each shows hours and minutes, driven by its own quartz caliber. The publications do not establish a controlled comparison of long-term durability between the models.

Worn & Wound’s November 25, 2024 hands-on review reports the following specifications for the Stone Dial models it covered:
- Stainless-steel or gold PVD-coated stainless-steel case, 33.65 mm by 37 mm.
- Flat sapphire crystal and snap-on case back.
- 30 m water resistance.
- Swiss Ronda 1032-1 quartz movement, listed with seven jewels and a 60-month battery life.
- 20 mm leather strap.
The review identifies malachite, aventurine, lapis lazuli and tiger eye among the Stone Dial options. Case finish and strap choices vary by version. Those movement and case details apply to the reviewed models, not automatically to every ALD watch.

What does the Dual Time add?
Fratello’s original Dual Time introduction describes two hour-and-minute displays powered by two Ronda quartz calibers, in a case measuring 37 mm by 35.6 mm by 6.1 mm. It lists dial treatments combining stone and sunray finishes, sapphire crystal and an original launch price of €780. That launch figure is not evidence of the current retail price.
In its 2026 coverage of the Dual Time “Shades,” Fratello reports a polished stainless-steel case with the same dimensions, flat sapphire crystal, two Ronda 1032 quartz movements and 30 m water resistance. The three split-tone dial variants use baton indexes and Arabic or Roman numerals. Reported strap choices are a five-row pebble-link steel bracelet and taupe calfskin.
