The Ollech & Wajs OW M-110 AS pairs a compact, vintage-inspired diver case with a stated 300 m water-resistance rating, a Soprod-based automatic movement and military-inspired dial details. Its strongest case is the combination of those specifications with its 39.56 mm diameter and canvas-and-leather strap; the main buying caveats are a published thickness discrepancy and prices and warranty terms that vary by market and date.
What the OW M-110 AS is
The OW M-110 AS is a mechanical dive watch with a skin-diver-style steel case, a matte gray dial and a bidirectional compass bezel. The AS model is supplied on a green canvas strap with leather backing. Its closely related M-110 M replaces that strap with a stainless-steel mesh bracelet.
The published specifications come from a hands-on review by Michael Stockton at Fratello and a 2025 Japanese distributor announcement. They are product and publication claims, not independent laboratory results. The two sources agree on several core features, but differ on the case thickness and describe the strap material differently.
Case size, fit and thickness
Fratello lists a 39.56 mm case diameter and 45.7 mm lug-to-lug measurement. Those dimensions make the watch a relatively compact option on paper for a 300 m-rated diver, though wrist fit also depends on wrist shape, strap and personal preference.

The thickness is unsettled in the available published specifications: Fratello gives 14 mm, while the Japanese distributor lists 12.5 mm alongside a 39.5 mm diameter. These figures should not be treated as interchangeable or resolved into a single definitive measurement. If case height matters for a cuff or fit, confirm the measurement for the specific market and listing before buying.
Stockton reports that the strap conformed to his wrist after a few minutes and describes the watch as comfortable. He writes, “With its moderate dimensions, the OW M-110 AS is very comfortable on the wrist.” That is his hands-on impression, not a guarantee that the watch will fit every wrist the same way.

Dial, legibility and bezel
The matte gray dial uses steel, white and light-green details. According to Fratello, three-minute periods after each quarter hour are highlighted in light green as a reference to military radio-silence practice. Super-LumiNova is applied to the hands and markers. Stockton found the display easy to read and visually restrained enough for casual and business-casual clothing.
The bidirectional compass bezel adds an outdoors-oriented feature to the design. Stockton noted that he would have preferred a luminous “N” for timing use; the review does not describe the bezel as having a luminous north marker. A compass bezel is not a substitute for a dedicated timing scale, so buyers who want a conventional elapsed-time dive bezel should check whether this layout suits their use.

Movement and stated performance
The watch is listed with the Soprod Newton Precision automatic movement, based on the P092. Fratello says it supports hand-winding and hacking seconds, runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, has 23 jewels and provides a 44-hour power reserve. The review also reports five-position adjustment and an accuracy figure of ±5 seconds per day.
Those accuracy and adjustment figures are claims reported by the review, not independent long-term measurements of this particular watch or a guarantee of how an individual example will perform. The stated functions and reserve give a useful specification baseline, but they do not establish real-world timekeeping over extended wear.

Water resistance and construction
Both cited sources list 30 ATM, equivalent to a stated 300 m water-resistance rating. Fratello specifies a 316L stainless-steel case, sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment, and screw-down crown and case back; the Japanese announcement also specifies sapphire crystal with anti-glare treatment. These published details suggest substantial dive-watch construction, but the sources do not establish a separate certification or provide independent pressure-test results.

| Version | Published configuration | What to consider |
|---|---|---|
| OW M-110 AS | 20 mm green canvas strap with leather backing, according to Fratello; the Japanese announcement describes hemp and leather. | Choose it for the fabric-strap look and feel. The sources differ in their wording for the fabric, so confirm the exact supplied material with the seller. |
| OW M-110 M | Stainless-steel mesh bracelet, according to both cited sources. | It is the bracelet alternative; the Japanese announcement lists a different price from the AS version. |
The listed strap width is 20 mm. That helps when considering replacement straps, but width alone does not confirm compatibility with a particular strap’s end shape, thickness or hardware.

Quick Recap
Who should consider it?
- Consider it if you want a steel, 300 m-rated mechanical diver with a modest stated diameter, a distinctive compass bezel and a fabric strap rather than a bracelet.
- Look closely at fit if you are sensitive to thickness or need a watch to slide under a close-fitting cuff; published thickness figures differ by 1.5 mm.
- Check the details if a conventional timing bezel, a luminous north marker, a specific strap fabric or independently verified accuracy is essential to your decision.
- Compare current offers carefully: the available CHF and JPY figures are dated snapshots from different markets, not current universal pricing.
