Oris lists a 19 mm strap width, 3 bar water resistance and a 38-hour power reserve for the surfaced reference 01 561 7783 4063-07 5 19 16. The “hands-on” impressions below come from Ricardo Sime’s December 2021 review at Dubai Watch Week, not a new 2026 launch.
What the Oris Rectangular is
Oris gives this model a rectangular case with softened curves and a dial layout that nods to Art Deco design. The result is more formal than a typical round sports watch, but its lacquered colors and polished surfaces keep it from being a strictly traditional dress watch.
Ricardo Sime’s 2021 hands-on review describes red, white, blue and dark green dial options. Launch coverage also uses Bordeaux and anthracite for some versions, so check the reference and local listing rather than relying on color names alone. The dial’s rail-track markings and date aperture at six are the collection’s most distinctive details.
Dimensions and wrist fit
For reference 01 561 7783 4063-07 5 19 16, Oris lists a 25.50 × 38.00 mm case, a 19 mm strap width and 3 bar water resistance. The 2021 review reports a thickness of 10.2 mm. Oris’s specifications and the review agree on the case width and height.
#1 Best Overall
Fit is individual. Sime reported that the watch sat well on a 7.5-inch wrist and likened its size to a point between Large and Extra-Large Cartier Tank Must sizing. That is one reviewer’s comparison, not a universal fit guide; rectangular cases can wear differently depending on wrist shape and strap curvature.
Movement, date and water resistance
The surfaced Oris reference uses the automatic Calibre 561. Oris lists a 38-hour power reserve, a frequency of 28,800 A/h, stop-second function and date. The review describes the date as quickset. The 2021 review and launch coverage identify Calibre 561 as based on ETA 2671; that lineage is reported by those sources rather than stated on the current Oris specification listing.
Oris rates the watch at 3 bar water resistance. Sime notes a non-screw-down crown and interprets the polished case and modest water rating as placing the watch between dressy and casual. A 3 bar rating is not a reason to treat it as a swimming watch; follow Oris’s care guidance for the specific model and avoid exposure beyond its stated rating.
Strap fit and ownership
The 19 mm lug width is worth checking before ordering a replacement strap. The reviewer notes quick-release spring bars, but also points out that 19 mm is less common than standard widths, which can narrow aftermarket choices. Verify both the width and compatibility with the quick-release arrangement: a strap that is nominally 19 mm wide may not have the right end or release hardware.

Sime’s account is useful for the wearing impression and details such as the 10.2 mm thickness, polished finish and quick-release strap. It is a single review from Dubai Watch Week in 2021, so its wrist-fit judgment and characterization of the watch’s dress-to-casual range should be read as personal observations. The available launch and official specifications do not provide a like-for-like current comparison with the Cartier Tank Must or Longines Dolce Vita; those names are design and size references, not a verified head-to-head.
