What does the steel Tonda PF Skeleton offer beyond an openworked dial?
Parmigiani Fleurier describes the design goal as revealing the movement without losing visual order: “The artistic openwork of the TONDA PF Skeleton must reveal the organic life of the movement and its architecture while maintaining its balance and volume.” On the graphite model, the dial is vertically satin-finished, with hand-applied 18ct rose-gold appliques. Skeletonized, delta-shaped hands in the same metal stand out against the open architecture.
The case and bracelet are stainless steel, but the bezel is 950 platinum, knurled like other Tonda PF bezels. The combination keeps the watch recognizably within the collection rather than treating the movement as a standalone visual spectacle. Sapphire is used for both the crystal and caseback, so the open dial is only one view of the movement.

How does its slimness compare with the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor?
The steel Skeleton is 8.5 mm thick. In its hands-on review, Fratello compares that with 7.8 mm for the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor, a difference of 0.7 mm. That is a useful proportion check: the Skeleton adds an openworked display while remaining under 9 mm thick, though it is not as thin as that related model.
Fratello’s reviewer also says the Skeleton costs almost three times as much as the Micro-Rotor in the context of that review. That is the reviewer’s comparison, not a current like-for-like price calculation. The article gives the Skeleton price as €62,500 / US$65,300 and calls it “steep,” while also describing the watch as exceptional. Those figures are separate from the manufacturer’s CHF 63,500 listing and should not be treated as interchangeable global prices.

Which steel version is this?
The title’s graphite model is the reference PFC912-1020001-100182-EN. It should not be confused with Parmigiani Fleurier’s steel slate-green version, which the brand’s 2025 novelty catalogue describes as limited to 50 pieces. That limitation applies to the slate-green edition, not to the graphite reference discussed here.
There is also a movement-specification difference across official materials: Parmigiani Fleurier’s current product page names the calibre PF777 and lists 192 components, while the 2024 collection catalogue calls it F777 and gives 187 components. These figures belong to different publications; the current product-page specification is PF777 with 192 components.

What is the price and what should a buyer verify?
Parmigiani Fleurier lists the graphite steel reference at CHF 63,500 on its current product page. Fratello’s hands-on review lists €62,500 / US$65,300 in its own publication context. Because the sources give different currencies and contexts, neither figure should be converted or generalized into a single current worldwide price without a verified market quote.
For a purchase inquiry, use the exact reference, PFC912-1020001-100182-EN, and the manufacturer’s dealer-finder route. Confirm that the seller is authorized, the graphite dial and steel/platinum configuration match the reference, and the price and availability apply in your location.
