Its independently adjustable local hour hand is the practical advantage for crossing time zones; the 48-click city bezel adds a way to read other zones, but it does not account automatically for daylight-saving changes. This is the newer 41mm model—not the older 42mm, 500m Thresher GMT.
What makes this a traveler’s GMT?
Zelos fits the 2024 Thresher WorldTimer with a Miyota 9075 and calls it a “True” GMT. WatchReport’s 2024 review describes the local hour hand as independently adjustable. When you arrive in a new time zone, you can move that hand in one-hour increments while leaving the GMT hand on your home or other reference time. That avoids having to reset the watch’s reference display just to show local time.
A practical setup is to set the GMT hand to a reference time zone, then set the local hour hand to the time where you are. The WorldTimer bezel can then help you read times in additional cities. The city display is not a daylight-saving-time calculator: you need to account for whether each location is observing daylight time and make the corresponding adjustment yourself. Beans & Bezels explains the setting approach and this limitation in its review of the Thresher GMT WorldTimer.
How does the 41mm case wear?
Zelos lists the case at 41mm across, 47mm lug to lug, and 12.7mm thick including the domed crystal (11.5mm without it). Lug width is 20mm. These are manufacturer figures for the current 41mm listings. WatchReport describes the 2024 revision as slimmer than its predecessor, while Beans & Bezels reports its own measurements of 40.6mm diameter, 46.5mm lug to lug, 50.5mm across the end links, and 12.6mm thick on the tested variant. Those reviewer measurements are useful context, not replacements for Zelos’s published dimensions.

- LARGE DIAL STYLE: Round silver and blue stainless steel case with a blue sunray dial and white accents, an ideal analog watch design inspired by classic big face watches.
- DURABLE STEEL BAND: Silver stainless steel bracelet for men's watch and big face watches, secure fold-over clasp; removable links for customized fit; interchangeable with all 24mm Fossil straps.
- ALL-DAY WATER DEFENSE – Water Resistant up to 100m (330ft): suitable for bathing, swimming or snorkeling, but is not resistant enough to withstand scuba diving; 10 ATM, ideal for those who rotate watches
The case and bracelet are titanium, with a listed 1200HV hardened coating. Titanium’s low weight can make a substantial dive-style watch feel less cumbersome than a steel one, though the listed specifications do not provide a weight for this model. Beans & Bezels notes curved lugs and comfort on wrist. Zelos specifies a titanium bracelet with a quick-adjust clasp; if considering a different strap, check how its end fits the watch and bracelet setup rather than relying on the 20mm lug width alone.
What are the bezel, dial and water-resistance specifications?
The current Dusk, Chalk Grey and Burgundy listings share the core specification: a bidirectional 48-click bezel with a sapphire insert, domed 2mm vintage-style sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating, and 200m water resistance with a screw-down crown. Zelos lists Lumicast Super-LumiNova in C3/BGW9. WatchReport’s review characterizes the redesigned bezel and dial as fully redone; legibility and the feel of the bezel remain matters of individual preference, not laboratory findings.
The dial finishes differ by variant:
- Dusk: black-to-grey gradient enamel.
- Chalk Grey: chalk-grey automotive paint with enamel.
- Burgundy: sand-textured burgundy dial with enamel.
The 200m rating and bidirectional bezel make this a different tool-watch proposition from the previous 500m Thresher GMT. A water-resistance rating is a manufacturer specification, not evidence here of an independent pressure test; follow the maker’s guidance for use and maintenance.

When comparing a listing or second-hand watch, verify the movement, diameter, water-resistance rating and lug width. “Thresher GMT” by itself does not identify which generation you are buying. WatchReport’s 2024 review covers the WorldTimer; its 2020 review covers the earlier model.

Zelos’s Dusk, Chalk Grey and Burgundy product pages displayed a price of $729 USD and “Sold Out” when checked for this article on October 7, 2026. The listings say the package includes a travel case and steel warranty card. Zelos says it ships by FedEx or DHL at its discretion; customs, taxes or VAT are the buyer’s responsibility, while the page states that USA shipping incurs no extra duties or tariffs. The listed return policy accepts brand-new, unworn watches within seven days of receipt, with return shipping paid by the buyer. Zelos describes its warranty as one year internationally for manufacturing or movement issues arising from normal use. These terms can change, so confirm them on the product page for your destination before ordering.
Is the titanium Thresher 41mm GMT competitive?
It makes a coherent case for a buyer seeking a titanium dive-style watch with a genuine travel-GMT function: the listed proportions are relatively compact for the category, and the independently jumping local hour hand is more useful on a trip than a GMT hand that must be reset to change local time. Its city bezel adds flexibility, provided you handle daylight-saving offsets yourself.
“Competitive” depends on what matters to you. The watch combines 200m water resistance, a sapphire-insert bezel, a titanium bracelet and a 9075 GMT, but the available evidence does not establish an accuracy result, comparative market ranking or independent durability test. The strongest reasons to shortlist it are its travel-time operation and titanium 41mm format; the main checks are whether the 48-click bidirectional bezel suits your intended use, how the case fits your wrist, and whether the variant you want is in stock at an acceptable delivered cost.
