Its finer guilloché, blue day-and-date discs and revised apertures give the familiar 39 mm watch a cleaner look. At launch, both gold versions were priced at EUR 45,800; that is a 2022 retail figure, not a current universal price.
What changed on the 2022 Breguet 7337?
Breguet presented the 2022 update as a mid-life facelift. In his 5 September 2022 hands-on article for Monochrome Watches, Brice Goulard described the watch as technically and specification-wise the same as before. The update focuses on the dial’s appearance and execution rather than a new movement, case size or set of functions.
A finer, more layered dial
The solid-gold dial retains the off-centred hour display, but its guilloché is more finely rendered: Clous de Paris decorates the centre, while barleycorn guilloché appears around the edge. The silvered surface and blue day and date discs add contrast. Breguet describes the hours chapter as shifted toward the bottom of the dial, with day and date shown through apertures at 10 and 2 o’clock, alongside a moon-phase indication. Breguet’s official 7337 product page describes the dial as hand-guilloché.
Updated apertures, familiar indications
The day and date apertures and their surrounding cartouches have a more angular, cleaner appearance than on the earlier version. The watch still displays hours, minutes, small seconds, moon phase, day and date; the change is how those indications are framed and integrated visually, not what the calendar does.

Goulard praised the dial execution but preferred the earlier watch’s more distinct small seconds and older apertures, which he felt had greater old-fashioned charm. That is his aesthetic judgment, not an objective flaw or a consensus view.
Case, movement and specifications
The update keeps the 39 mm case and automatic calibre 502.3 QSE1. The 2022 Monochrome report gives a case height of 9.95 mm and 30 m water resistance. Breguet’s current white-gold product listing rounds thickness to 10 mm and states water resistance as 3 BAR. Those are slightly different presentations of the specifications; each figure is retained here with its source.

Breguet’s specification page is for the white-gold model; the 2022 article covers both metals. The official listing gives a 20 mm lug width and specifies 236 components, 3 Hz and a 45-hour reserve. The water-resistance rating is modest, so this calendar watch is not presented as a model for swimming or diving.
White gold or rose gold: what is the difference?
The two 2022 references share the design update and core specifications. The distinction established by the available product information is the case metal and the associated dial and strap treatment; there is no stated difference in movement or indications.

Both references were reported at the same launch price. The specific dial and strap colors can vary with the reference; check the exact configuration with Breguet or a local retailer rather than assuming the two metals have identical styling.

How much did the Breguet Classique Calendrier 7337 cost?
Monochrome Watches reported a 2022 launch price of EUR 45,800 for each version, and said it was unchanged from the previous editions. This is a historical euro retail price, not a current global quote.
For current context, Breguet’s official page directs customers to points of sale for recommended retail pricing. Bucherer/Tourneau lists the rose-gold 7337BR/12/9VU at $66,000 on its US listing, accessed in 2026. That is one retailer’s listed price and may change; it is not a market-wide price. The euro launch figure and US listing come from different dates and pricing contexts, so they do not establish a like-for-like price increase.
Availability and who the update suits
The 2022 release was reported as part of Breguet’s permanent collection rather than a limited edition. For a purchase, confirm the reference, configuration and local recommended retail price with a point of sale; availability and prices may differ by market.

The redesign is most compelling if you like a more integrated, finely patterned calendar dial and blue accents. If the appeal of the earlier 7337 was its visually separate small seconds and softer-looking apertures, Goulard’s preference suggests the newer execution may feel less charming to you. The underlying format and complication set remain familiar, so the choice is primarily about dial style rather than a technical upgrade.
