The Peren Regia pairs a restrained 39 mm design with a stated 200 m water-resistance rating, a screw-down crown and a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement. Its unusual date at 12 o’clock and compact proportions set it apart; availability is less certain, as Peren’s product page currently lists it as sold out.
What makes the Peren Regia distinctive?
The defining visual choice is the date window at 12 o’clock. Peren connects the Regia collection to the Sarmizegetusa Regia calendar of Transylvania, which the brand describes as an ancient lunar-solar calendar. The placement gives the dial a clear point of difference from a conventional diver, though it has a practical drawback: Fratello reviewer Jorg Weppelink notes that the hands can cover the date as it changes around midnight.
The rest of the design is deliberately restrained: a black dial, applied luminous indexes and a rotating bezel with an aluminum insert. The result is a compact-looking dive watch whose character comes more from its proportions and date placement than from elaborate dial decoration.

How does it wear?
In a January 2024 Fratello review, Jorg Weppelink said he wore the Regia for two weeks and found its dimensions modest enough to suit a variety of wrists. He singled out the bezel, crown, chamfered lugs and attention to detail as appealing elements. Those are one reviewer’s observations, not a guarantee of fit or comfort for every wearer.
Weppelink found the supplied fabric strap rather thin. Fratello also noted that the watch was offered with FKM rubber and a steel bracelet. The specific configuration matters when comparing listings; the available information does not establish lug width or confirm compatibility with third-party straps.

Can you still buy the Peren Regia?
Peren’s product page currently displays CHF 695 and “Sold Out.” Price and stock can change, so check the official Regia listing for the live status before making a purchase decision. Peren describes production as limited to 300 numbered pieces.
For context, Fratello’s January 2024 article records launch-period preorder and later prices, but it gives conflicting preorder figures for the strap version. Those historic amounts are not a reliable guide to today’s price. The current manufacturer listing is the appropriate place to check present availability and price.
