The Peren Regia Lunar Eclipse Dark is a monochrome automatic dive-style watch: a black DLC-coated case and matte-black dial meet white hands and luminous markers. Its compact 39 mm case, 200 m water-resistance rating and Sellita SW200-1 movement make it a distinctive spec package, while the reduced bezel markings lean more toward visual minimalism than dive-tool practicality. Peren’s page listed the watch at CHF 695 but marked it “Sold Out” when checked on September 28, 2026.
What is the Peren Regia LE Dark?
The Regia Lunar Eclipse Dark—also called the Regia LE Dark or Regia Eclipse—is Peren’s blacked-out take on its Regia dive-watch design. The case is stainless steel with a black DLC coating; Fratello describes its finish as bead-blasted, with hand-polished chamfers. A matte-black dial carries white hands and Super-LumiNova markers, preserving contrast against the dark surfaces.
Fratello reviewer Jorg Weppelink summed up that contrast this way: “The blacked-out case and dial are contrasted by bright white hands and markers, so it’s always easy to read the time.” That is the reviewer’s observation, not a separate legibility test. The luminous markers and bezel pip also provide visual reference points when light is low.
Peren and Fratello both connect the Regia collection’s design to the Sarmizegetusa Regia calendar. The sources present that connection as the inspiration for the collection and its unusual date position at 12 o’clock.

How large is it, and what are the specifications?
Fratello lists a 39 mm diameter, 12.8 mm thickness and 45.3 mm lug-to-lug measurement. Those dimensions give a more useful sense of wrist footprint than diameter alone. Peren’s product page lists the same case dimensions.

The 200 m figure is the manufacturers’ and reviewer’s listed specification; it is not evidence of independent water-resistance testing or a guarantee of suitability for a particular dive.

What is it like to wear and use?
Weppelink reports that the watch wore comfortably over multiple days and praises the FKM rubber strap. Those are his hands-on impressions, rather than measurements or a claim about how it will fit every wrist. The 45.3 mm lug-to-lug dimension is worth considering alongside the 39 mm diameter when assessing fit.
The white hands and luminous markers are the clearest functional counterpoint to the all-black treatment. The bezel is a different story: although it is unidirectional and has 120 clicks, only a luminous pip marks the otherwise reduced bezel insert. Weppelink characterizes that sparse setup as mainly an aesthetic exercise rather than a serious dive-watch arrangement. Its minimal look may suit the design, but readers who prioritize prominent elapsed-time markings should weigh that trade-off.

Weppelink also called the watch “very well made” and praised its details. That is his assessment of the reviewed example, not an independently measured durability or quality finding. Fratello mentions the Unimatic Modello Quattro as a visual reference while noting that the watches differ; it is a point of aesthetic comparison, not evidence that they are identical or formal competitors.
What movement does the Regia LE Dark use?
The watch uses a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement. Peren describes it as regulated in-house and lists a 38-hour power reserve and 28,800 A/h frequency. The date display sits at 12 o’clock, an uncommon placement that supports the collection’s stated calendar inspiration.

How much does it cost, and is it available?
Prices and stock status are time-sensitive. Fratello’s July 16, 2025 review gave a price of CHF 777. Peren’s official product page listed CHF 695 and “Sold Out” when checked on September 28, 2026. Neither figure establishes a current purchase price or availability elsewhere.

Is the Peren Regia LE Dark worth considering?
It is worth a look if you want an unusually restrained black dive-style watch, prefer a compact case footprint, and like the contrast of bright hands and lume against a dark dial. Its automatic Sellita movement, sapphire crystal and listed 200 m water resistance round out the specification.
The main design compromise is the bezel: its sparse markings favor the blacked-out aesthetic over at-a-glance elapsed-time reading. Availability is another practical constraint, since Peren’s page showed it sold out on the date checked. Consider the case dimensions, bezel style, strap option, current listing status and price together rather than treating the water-resistance rating or movement name alone as a verdict.
