The WRK Timepieces ACF-02 is a compact, time-only automatic watch built around a Télôs-developed micro-rotor movement. Its 38 mm Grade 5 titanium case, partially openworked dial, and slim 8.5 mm profile set it apart; the first published wrist impressions, however, were made with a working prototype rather than a finished production watch.
What is the WRK Timepieces ACF-02?
The ACF-02 is an automatic mechanical watch showing central hours and minutes. It has no running-seconds display. Instead of a conventional closed dial, sections of the dial are openworked to expose the movement, while a minute track is printed on the underside of the crystal. The result puts the caliber in view from the front as well as through the rear sapphire window.

WRK presents the model as a blend of compact proportions and a distinctive movement architecture: a Télôs-developed caliber with a bidirectional micro-rotor and two parallel barrels. Those are the maker’s stated design and specification details; impressions of how the prototype looked and wore come from Fratello Watches writer Dave Sergeant’s hands-on report.
How big is the ACF-02?
Fratello’s September 15, 2025 hands-on report gives the case dimensions as 38 mm wide, 41 mm long, and 8.5 mm thick. The case is bead-blasted Grade 5 titanium. WRK lists natural titanium, silver DLC, and black DLC finishes on its ACF-02 product page.

Fratello also lists a sapphire crystal and a sapphire caseback set into a Grade 5 titanium back secured with four screws. In his account of the first working prototype, Sergeant found the watch light and balanced, with a curved caseback that settled against the wrist and a profile that fitted beneath a cuff. These are one reviewer’s impressions of that sample, not a guarantee of fit for every wrist or of the final production watch.
What movement is in the ACF-02?
The movement is the Télôs AMB-01/1. WRK describes it as an automatic caliber wound by a bidirectional micro-rotor, with double barrels arranged in parallel. Fratello reports a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The micro-rotor winding system and openworked dial are central to the watch’s character: the movement is not hidden as a supporting component but made a visible part of the design.
WRK says the watch is entirely manufactured in Switzerland and that each piece is assembled and controlled by one watchmaker. Its product page states: “Each timepiece is hand-assembled and controlled by a single watchmaker.”
Sergeant’s report also notes Télôs’ logo on the rear of the movement. He relays designer Nasko’s explanation that the treatment drew inspiration from logos on engine cam covers; that is a design anecdote reported by Fratello, not a movement specification.

WRK describes the reserve as approximately 72 hours. Fratello’s hands-on article reports 72 hours guaranteed, with 80–84 hours possible. Treat the higher figure as a possibility reported by Fratello, not as the stated guaranteed reserve.
What was the first prototype like to wear?
Sergeant described the monochromatic, openworked display as readable, crediting the central hands and the minute track printed on the crystal. His report is useful for understanding the design in person, but it concerns a specific early sample: he wrote, “The piece I handled was the very first fully working prototype.”
The report explicitly calls that sample prototype grade. Sergeant observed a temporary gasket at the crystal-case seal and said the strap was still a work in progress. Those details describe the prototype he handled; they do not establish a defect or final specification for production watches.
