The title does not specify a dial or reference, so the details below apply to that original collection only.
What was new about the 2022 Defy Skyline?
The Skyline combined an angular stainless-steel case and integrated bracelet with a distinctive 1/10-second indicator. Its automatic El Primero 3620 runs at 36,000 vibrations per hour; the small indicator at 9 o’clock completes one rotation every 10 seconds. That display is separate from the central hour and minute hands, and gives the watch a visible expression of the movement’s high frequency. Time+Tide’s 2022 hands-on coverage describes the original collection and its specifications: Time+Tide’s Defy Skyline hands-on review.
Original Defy Skyline specifications
| Feature | Original time-and-date model |
|---|---|
| Case | Stainless steel |
| Diameter | 41 mm |
| Thickness | 11.6 mm |
| Lug-to-lug | 46.3 mm |
| Water resistance | 100 m stated |
| Movement | Automatic El Primero 3620 |
| Frequency | 36,000 vph |
| Power reserve | 60 hours |
| Functions | Hours, minutes, date at 3 o’clock, and 1/10-second indicator at 9 o’clock |
These are the figures reported for the 2022 steel time-and-date collection by Time+Tide; they should not be carried over to other Skyline variants.
How does it fit and wear?
The 41 mm diameter gives the Skyline a substantial presence, while its 46.3 mm lug-to-lug measurement is the more useful figure for judging how far it spans the wrist. Thickness is 11.6 mm. Case dimensions alone cannot establish fit for an individual wrist, and the cited coverage does not provide a wrist-size measurement that would make a more precise fit claim possible.

The integrated steel bracelet is the default look. The 2022 coverage also describes an additional color-matched rubber strap and a quick-change system, so the wearer can switch the watch’s appearance without treating it as a conventional lug-and-strap pairing. If sourcing a replacement strap or bracelet, confirm compatibility with the exact reference rather than assuming every Skyline uses interchangeable parts.
Dial options and everyday functions
The original collection was described with blue, black, and silver dial options. Each has a date display at 3 o’clock, alongside the rotating 1/10-second indicator. Choosing among the dial colors is chiefly a matter of preference; the cited source does not establish that one color has different specifications or availability from another.
What it cost at launch
Time+Tide reported a US$8,400 launch-era price in 2022. That is a historical figure, not a current retail quote; current pricing and stock are not established here.

The Skyline name now spans distinct watches. In 2026, Deployant reported black ceramic Skeleton and Chronograph releases, not revisions to the steel time-and-date specifications above. Its coverage identifies the Skeleton as a model first appearing in 2023 and the ceramic Chronograph as first appearing in 2025. The reported 2026 specifications and launch-context prices are:
| Model | Case | Function | Size | Power reserve | Reported price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Original Defy Skyline (2022) | Stainless steel | Time and date; 1/10-second indicator | 41 mm | 60 hours | US$8,400 reported by Time+Tide in 2022 |
| Defy Skyline Skeleton (2026 release) | Black ceramic | Skeleton | 41 mm | 55 hours | CHF 16,900 reported by Deployant in 2026 |
| Defy Skyline Chronograph (2026 release) | Black ceramic | Chronograph | 42 mm | 60 hours | CHF 18,900 reported by Deployant in 2026 |
The later prices are launch-context figures reported in Swiss francs, not verified current prices. Deployant notes a price adjustment in its 2026 coverage. See Deployant’s coverage of the black ceramic Skyline Skeleton and Chronograph for those releases. The cases, functions, and movement reserves differ by model; a shared Skyline name does not make their specifications interchangeable.
