The YEMA Wristmaster Slim CMM.20 Limited Edition (reference 76.24.06.SN.M) pairs a slim 39 mm integrated-bracelet case with a hand-finished black PVD treatment that can look like forged carbon at a glance. It is steel, not carbon, and Fratello’s reviewer found that its cool, weighty feel and unusual surface made it a distinctive but not unequivocal upgrade over the standard Slim. YEMA currently lists the 200-piece edition as sold out at $2,449; Fratello reported a launch price of €2,449 in December 2024, a separate historical figure.
What makes this Wristmaster Slim different?
The limited edition’s defining feature is its treatment, not a different movement or a larger case. YEMA says the dial, case, bracelet and caliber bridges receive individually hand-finished decoration. The result is a black PVD-coated steel watch with randomized brushing rather than a conventional uniform brushed finish. YEMA describes each watch as individually crafted so that no two are identical.
Thomas Van Straaten’s December 2024 Fratello review says the surface can resemble forged carbon at first sight, but stresses that it is hand-finished PVD-coated stainless steel. Its metallic sheen and the cool, solid feel of steel distinguish it from carbon. That resemblance is an impression, not the material: the case and bracelet are 316L steel.

These are manufacturer specifications, not measurements from the Fratello review. YEMA says the CMM.20 is designed, manufactured, assembled and calibrated in its Morteau workshops, with other components sourced from France and Switzerland. The movement’s micro-rotor architecture and decorated bridges give the watch an additional point of interest beyond its dark exterior.

How the case and bracelet wear
Fratello’s reviewer praised the proportions and comfort. He measured the case at 43.5 mm from tip to tip, alongside its 39 mm diameter and 9 mm thickness, and noted the bracelet’s taper and short links. Those details help explain why the watch’s presence is not defined by diameter alone: the integrated bracelet and compact length contribute to its fit.
The butterfly clasp includes tool-free micro-adjustment. The reviewer found that opening the adjustment left visible gaps and said he personally disliked the result. That is a specific design trade-off to weigh against the convenience of changing the fit without a tool, rather than a universal comfort verdict.

What the CMM.20 contributes
The CMM.20 is an automatic micro-rotor movement with a manufacturer-stated 70-hour reserve. YEMA lists its frequency as 28,800 A/h and its rate as -3/+7 seconds per day; neither figure should be read as an independently observed result for this watch. For a wearer, the movement is relevant both as the mechanism behind the slim format and as part of the display-back appeal noted by Fratello’s reviewer.

The central choice is whether the hand-finished surface is worth the historical premium. Fratello’s reviewer appreciated its unusual character and the movement view, but questioned whether the presentation felt commensurate with a €2,500 watch and preferred a finish that did not evoke forged carbon. Those are his opinions, not an objective measure of quality. The extra €200 is likewise a 2024 comparison, not a current price difference.

Price, availability and purchase terms
YEMA’s official product page currently displays $2,449 and marks the edition sold out; both price and stock status can change. Fratello’s December 21, 2024 review reported a €2,449 launch price, with first orders beginning to ship December 10 after the November 29 introduction. The euro launch price and the current dollar listing are from different times and regional contexts, not a currency conversion or a like-for-like price comparison.
YEMA publishes a five-year international warranty from shipment and a 14-day period to request a refund after receipt, subject to its conditions. Verdict
The Wristmaster Slim CMM.20 Limited Edition is a focused design variation: the familiar slim proportions and micro-rotor movement are dressed in a hand-finished black PVD treatment that gives each steel watch a different surface. Fratello’s hands-on account suggests the case and bracelet wear well, while its clasp adjustment and the finish’s value proposition are more subjective points. It is most compelling for someone who specifically wants that dark, irregular steel finish; the dated premium and current sold-out status make it harder to recommend as a straightforward upgrade over the standard Slim.
