Hermès’ three 2025 Arceau L’Heure de la Lune variations pair two-tone cases with dials made from lunar rock, a fragment of the asteroid Vesta, and Erg Chech 002 meteorite. Fratello reported on March 5, 2025, that the watches were offered together in just 12 sets, priced at €251,000 per set; that is a launch-era secondary-source report, not a verified current offer.
What are the three new Arceau L’Heure de la Lune watches?
Hermès introduced the Arceau L’Heure de la Lune family in 2019. The three 2025 variations retain its distinctive lunar display while differentiating themselves through case metals and unusual dial materials. Fratello’s March 5, 2025 report describes them as a 12-set edition sold together rather than as individual watches.

These descriptions, including the 43 mm case size and matching hour markers, come from Fratello’s 2025 report. It also says each watch carries a Pegasus based on Dimitri Rybaltchenko’s Full Moon motif.
How does the dual moon-phase display work?
The complication depicts lunar phases as seen from both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. The Fondation Haute Horlogerie (FHH) explains that two mobile counters travel around the meteorite dial: one indicates hours and minutes, while the other shows the date. As they move, they pass over mother-of-pearl moons, creating the paired lunar display.

FHH describes an exclusive patented Chronode module completing Hermès’ H1837 manufacture movement. Fratello reports that the counters complete a full circuit in 59 days and that the module contains 117 components. Those latter figures are reported for the 2025 release by Fratello; they should not be assumed to describe every Arceau L’Heure de la Lune reference.
How does the 2025 set compare with listed family references?
Official Hermès listings provide useful reference-specific context, but they describe other watches in the broader family—not the three 2025 set pieces. Their materials, prices and power reserves should not be transferred to the special editions.

FHH’s record for a base-model edition lists a 43 mm white-gold case, alligator strap, 30 m water resistance, and an earlier 100-piece limited edition priced at CHF 26,000. Those details belong to that record, not the 2025 three-watch set. The family’s technical and price details are therefore best read by exact reference and market.

What is known about availability and price?
Fratello reported 12 sets and a price of €251,000 per set in its March 5, 2025 article. That figure refers to the reported complete set, not to an individual watch, and does not establish a current Hermès offer or present-day secondary-market price. Hermès’ cited official product listings cover other references and do not verify current availability of the three special editions.
What recognition has the model received?
The original Arceau L’Heure de la Lune won the Calendar and Astronomy Watch Prize at the 2019 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, according to the GPHG winners’ record.
