When were the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and Salon de TE?
HKTDC’s September 5, 2023 announcement identifies the events as the 42nd Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and 11th Salon de TE, held September 5–9, 2023. They were jointly organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd, and The Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Ltd.
The 2023 events ran concurrently with CENTRESTAGE from September 6 to 9, according to the same announcement.
What did the fair showcase?
HKTDC describes the fair as a showcase for watches, clocks, and related products. Its current fair page also highlights packaging, machinery and equipment, and parts and components. The event therefore covers more than finished watches, with products and services relevant to watchmaking and supply.

What was Salon de TE?
Salon de TE was the companion event identified alongside the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair in the 2023 announcement. HKTDC’s later 2026 announcement uses the name Salon de TIME; that is a later-edition name and should not be mistaken for the 2023 event’s Salon de TE branding.
How did buyers connect with exhibitors?
HKTDC’s 2023 announcement described Scan2Match as a way for buyers at the fairs to scan exhibitor QR codes using the HKTDC Marketplace App. Buyers could bookmark exhibitors, view product information and a floor plan, make enquiries, and continue online chat during or after the exhibition. The announcement documents the feature for that edition; it does not establish whether Scan2Match remains available now.

Where was the 2023 fair held?
The retrieved 2023 announcement details do not establish the venue, so a 2023 location cannot be confirmed here. HKTDC’s current fair page lists the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre for the 2026 physical fair, but that venue information applies to the later edition.

HKTDC’s current page lists the 2026 physical fair for September 1–5, with Click2Match scheduled for August 25–September 12, 2026. These dates describe the 2026 edition, not the 2023 event or a future edition beyond 2026.
HKTDC reports that the 2025 fair had 652 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions, and 15,787 physical buyers from 95 countries and regions. These are 2025 figures only; they should not be read as attendance or exhibitor totals for 2023.
