Snoopy’s hidden MoonSwatch Easter egg is revealed under ultraviolet light: the moon-phase display lights up blue and shows a quote from a Snoopy comic strip. Swatch does not publish the quote itself. The Snoopy Moonphase comes in two versions: black Mission to the Moonphase – New Moon (SO33B700) and white Mission to the Moonphase (SO33W700).
What is the Snoopy MoonSwatch Easter egg?
Both Moonphase watches hide a Snoopy comic-strip quote in the moon-phase mask and disc, among crescent moons and stars. Swatch says, “When under ultraviolet light, the celestial scene comes to life casting a mesmerizing blue glow.” The official product pages do not reveal the quote’s wording, so there is no confirmed text to share.
To see the effect, shine a UV flashlight on the moon-phase display. The flashlight is an optional accessory, not an item Swatch says is included with the watch.

Both use quartz movements and share the UV-revealed Easter egg. Swatch describes both as non-limited models. The choice is primarily the black New Moon or white Full Moon look.

Where can you buy the New Moon and white Moonphase?
Swatch says MoonSwatch watches are sold at selected Swatch stores worldwide. Availability can vary by location, so check with a local store rather than assuming a model is in stock. Swatch’s stated purchase limit is one watch per person, per day, per store.

Is the Moonshine Gold Earthphase the same watch?
No. Mission to Earthphase – Moonshine Gold is a separate product line and complication, not another name for the black New Moon Moonphase. Its Snoopy and Woodstock illustration appears beneath the earth-phase indicator, with a phrase Swatch says is revealed under UV light. The Cold Moon version had a limited release window from 4 December 2025 through 20 March 2026; that window has ended.
The Earthphase model’s 29.5-day figure refers to its earth-phase cycle, which runs in reverse relative to moon phases. It is not a specification for either Moonphase watch discussed above.
