HONOR’s Band 9 pairs a curved-edge 1.57-inch AMOLED display with a battery-life estimate of up to 14 days—but that maximum depends on a specific, light-use scenario. HONOR also gives a 10-day regular-use estimate. These are manufacturer claims, not independent test results, and the feature set can differ by market.
What HONOR announced
The Band 9 is a fitness band, not a conventional watch. HONOR’s global product page describes a 1.57-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 60 Hz and curved edges. The company promotes the design as slim and comfortable; that is HONOR’s characterization, not an independently verified comfort assessment. HONOR Global
The display’s “up to 60 Hz” wording is significant: HONOR says actual behavior can vary by scenario, so the maximum refresh rate should not be read as a guarantee that it is sustained in every use.
What the 14-day battery claim assumes
HONOR’s maximum-use estimate is up to 14 days, while its regular-use example is up to 10 days. The company’s estimates are based on laboratory scenarios, and it cautions that actual battery life varies with environment and usage habits. HONOR Global

| HONOR scenario | Estimated battery life | Assumptions stated by HONOR |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum use | Up to 14 days | Continuous heart-rate measurement enabled; Healthy Sleep off at night; 30 minutes of exercise per week; specified daily notifications; 200 screen activations per day. |
| Regular use | Up to 10 days | Healthy Sleep on; 60 minutes of exercise per week; the same notification assumptions; 500 screen activations per day. |
Always-on display can substantially change the estimate in the China-region specifications: HONOR lists up to 3.5 days for its maximum-use scenario and up to 3 days for regular use with that feature enabled. Those figures are specific to the China product page, not a universal battery guarantee. HONOR China
Health and exercise features vary by market
HONOR’s China product page lists heart-rate, blood-oxygen, stress, sleep and menstrual-cycle monitoring, along with 96 exercise modes. It also describes some payment functions as China-only and dependent on NFC, and notes that selected functions have iOS or phone operating-system compatibility limits. These details should not be assumed to apply to every regional version of the Band 9. HONOR China

The official specifications make the Band 9’s main appeal clear: a relatively large, curved AMOLED display and long claimed battery life. The useful qualification is that the 14-day figure depends on HONOR’s defined maximum-use conditions; its own regular-use estimate is 10 days, and always-on display reduces the China-region estimates further. Without independent testing, real-world endurance and comfort remain unverified.
