Horage says its Revolution 3 MicroReg lets a watch owner fine-tune the mechanical movement’s rate in increments as small as 0.1 seconds, without opening the case. It is a maker-described adjustment system, not evidence that every watch will keep better time on every wearer’s wrist. The Revolution 3 pairs it with an inverted movement and an unusual split time display.
What MicroReg does
Mechanical watch regulation adjusts the rate at which a movement runs. Horage developed MicroReg with Miniswys as a way to make fine adjustments after the watch reaches its owner. Horage describes a miniature actuator that allows adjustment in increments as small as 0.1 seconds. The company says the mechanism uses no coils, magnets or chips inside the watch and consumes no energy while at rest.
Horage says adjustment can be performed without opening the case, using an adjustment tool and appropriate knowledge. That does not mean the watch automatically self-corrects: the owner or a watchmaker must carry out an adjustment. The company’s product page says, “Watchmakers, and importantly watch owners themselves, can perform adjustments to the watch in a timely and accurate manner, without opening the watch case.” This is Horage’s description of the system and its intended use.
In an August 16, 2024 feature, Oliver R. Müller described a ceramic component and metal carrier and connected the design to the traditional Grossmann micro-metric adjustment concept. Those details help explain the design, but neither the feature nor Horage’s materials establish independent performance results from delivered production watches.

Why adjust a watch after it reaches its owner?
A watch’s measured rate under controlled conditions and its rate in daily wear are not necessarily the same. Position, routine and environment can affect how a mechanical movement behaves on a wearer’s wrist. COSC certification is a controlled laboratory assessment; it does not establish that every wearer will see the same rate in every circumstance.
MicroReg is presented as a way to tune a movement to its wearer’s conditions, rather than as a replacement for certification or proof of universal accuracy. Müller summarized the concept as allowing “fine adjustment of the movement once the watch has reached the client’s wrist.” Without comparative testing of production watches under wearer conditions, it is not possible to conclude that MicroReg makes the Revolution 3 more accurate for every owner.
How MicroReg compares with conventional regulation
| Question | Horage MicroReg, as described by Horage | Conventional mechanical regulation |
|---|---|---|
| Adjustment access | Horage says it can be adjusted without opening the case, using an adjustment tool. | Typically requires access to the movement; the specific procedure depends on the watch and regulator. |
| Adjustment granularity | Horage states increments as small as 0.1 seconds. | No comparable value is established in the cited material. |
| Who can adjust it? | Horage says a watchmaker or suitably knowledgeable owner can perform an adjustment. | Usually a watchmaker or other person qualified to open and regulate the movement. |
| Certification basis | MicroReg is an adjustment feature, not a certification. | Certification, where applicable, is a separate assessment under the certifier’s test conditions. |
| Wearer-level comparative results | Not stated; no independent comparative results for delivered production watches are established. | Not stated; no matching wearer-level comparison is established. |
The table contrasts the stated adjustment approach, not independently measured accuracy. The available information does not support ranking MicroReg against other watches or regulation systems on real-world timekeeping results.
Revolution 3 design and specifications
The Revolution 3’s most striking choice is its inverted K2 micro-rotor movement: the movement is presented on the front, while the reverse carries a more conventional time display. Horage lists a silicon spring and escapement, a screw balance, a 72-hour power reserve and MicroReg regulation.

Reading the two sides
On the front, a rotating time disc shows the time in five-minute increments. That gives the movement-forward face a distinctive readout, but it is less precise at a glance than a conventional minute hand. The reverse has an hour disc, an independent minute hand and a central seconds hand, offering a more familiar way to read the time.

Current price, delivery estimate and order terms
As listed by Horage’s official shop on October 8, 2026, the Founders Edition costs CHF 4,950 excluding VAT and duties, with shipping included. Horage gives October 2026 as the earliest projected preorder shipping and early 2027 for orders placed from September 2026; the shop describes the earliest timing as mid-October 2026. These are projections, not confirmed delivery dates. Horage lists CHF 6,900 as the normal stock price.
Horage says orders are customized and become non-refundable after the first two weeks. The shop also says that if MicroReg cannot be delivered, Horage plans to supply an otherwise identical Revolution 3 without MicroReg at the price paid. Review the live listing and its terms before ordering, as price and timing can change. An August 16, 2024 Revolution Watch article reported an earlier CHF 3,900 price and late-summer-2026 delivery estimate; those figures are historical, not the current shop terms.

Quick Recap
What buyers should weigh
- The adjustment is the key promise. MicroReg is intended to make fine rate tuning accessible without opening the case, but the adjustment still requires a tool and suitable knowledge.
- Readability depends on which side you use. The front’s five-minute increments prioritize the movement display; the reverse provides a more conventional hour-and-minute reading.
- The evidence has a limit. Horage’s specifications and mechanism description do not establish independent production-watch accuracy or an advantage for every wearer.
- The preorder includes a stated contingency. Horage says an otherwise identical watch without MicroReg may be supplied if the technology cannot be delivered, so buyers should consider whether the watch still suits them under that outcome.
