The Horage Supersede Date is a 39.5 mm steel sports watch that pairs a simplified time-and-date display with an independently jump-set hour hand. Horage added it to the Supersede line in 2023, after the Supersede GMT; its current shop listing shows CHF 5,490. Its key distinction is practical: adjust local time without stopping the minutes or seconds, then use the quick-set big date when needed.
What is the Horage Supersede Date?
Introduced in 2023, the Supersede Date followed the Supersede GMT. It keeps the predecessor’s independently adjustable hour hand but pares the display back to the time and a big date at 3 o’clock. That makes it a travel-friendly time-and-date watch rather than a full GMT display. Horage describes it as an “All-Terrain” member of the Supersede line; the designation is the brand’s positioning, not an independent performance assessment.
Fratello’s report on the September 5, 2023 launch described the retained jumping-hour function as the defining connection to the GMT model. The date watch was therefore not a new 2026 announcement.
How do the jump hour and quick-set date work?
Adjusting local time
The hour hand jumps independently, so a traveller can move it to local time without interrupting the running minute and seconds hands. This is useful when changing time zones while preserving the watch’s ongoing timekeeping display.

Adjusting the date
The large date at 3 o’clock has a quick-adjust function. Horage’s instructions say to turn the crown counterclockwise to change the date. This date adjustment is separate from the jump-hour feature.

The 39.5 mm diameter and 46.29 mm lug-to-lug measurement give a more complete sense of case footprint than diameter alone. Actual wrist fit still depends on wrist shape, bracelet adjustment and personal preference; the listed dimensions do not establish how the watch will wear on a particular wrist.
Dial, bracelet and strap choices
Horage lists two dial colours: Cenote Blue and Black Coral. Buyers can also select brushed or polished bracelet centre links. A separate model-specific rubber strap is offered. The shop says each watch is manufactured based on the customized order, so configuration and availability should be checked on the live listing rather than assumed from a past selection.

Horage’s shop listing showed CHF 5,490 when accessed on October 7, 2026. That is the current listed price in the cited material, not a guarantee of the price, availability, delivery timing or shipping terms for every buyer. Check the live product page and the terms for your destination; Horage notes that listed taxes, duties and shipping apply to named regions and says shipping is included.
For context, Fratello reported the 2023 preorder price as CHF 4,900 through November 2023 and the regular price afterward as CHF 5,500. Those are launch-period historical prices, not current offers.

Who should consider the Supersede Date?
The Supersede Date is most relevant to someone who wants to adjust local time with a jumping hour hand but does not need the Supersede GMT’s fuller GMT display. Its 200-metre stated water resistance, compact listed dimensions and date complication make it an all-purpose sports-watch proposition on paper, while the K2 micro-rotor and COSC certification are central parts of its movement specification.
Before choosing it over another sports watch—or the Supersede GMT—compare the functions you will actually use, the listed dimensions against your wrist, water-resistance rating, movement architecture and reserve, available configurations, and current price. The published specifications are not a substitute for an independent side-by-side test.
