As of October 9, 2026, Rolex’s U.S. catalog lists Oyster Perpetual watches from $6,200 to $45,850. That spread reflects different sizes, materials and gem-set configurations—not one standard price for every watch in the collection. The Oystersteel models shown range from $6,200 for a 28 mm watch to $7,050 for a 41 mm watch. These are U.S. catalog prices in USD, not a guarantee of availability or a tax-inclusive total.

What affects an Oyster Perpetual’s price?

Material and gem setting

Material is the clearest source of large price differences in the current examples. A 28 mm Oystersteel model is listed at $6,200, compared with $31,600 for a 28 mm yellow-gold model. Precious-metal and diamond-set configurations reach the high end of the collection range.

Case size

Among the Oystersteel examples, listed prices rise from $6,200 at 28 mm to $7,050 at 41 mm. The steps are not a simple per-millimeter formula: the 36 mm example is $6,750, for instance. Compare the actual size and reference rather than estimating from diameter. Rolex outlines the collection’s sizes and features on its Oyster Perpetual features page.

Exact configuration and generation

“Oyster Perpetual” identifies a collection, not a single specification. A quote depends on the precise reference and its combination of size, metal, dial and any gem setting. In the Oystersteel examples reviewed, multiple dial colors were listed at the same price for a given size; that does not establish that every dial or generation has always been priced alike, or that a particular color carries a current official premium.

Country and transaction total

The figures here are from Rolex’s U.S. site and are in USD. They should not be treated as prices for other countries. For your market, consult its country-specific Rolex catalog and ask the retailer whether taxes, duties or other charges affect the total.

How pre-owned prices differ from new retail

A pre-owned asking price is an individual offer, not Rolex’s new-watch list price. Rolex’s Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program covers qualifying watches at least two years old; Rolex says program watches have their components verified, are serviced, and come with a two-year international guarantee from purchase. They are sold through participating authorized points of sale, not necessarily every authorized retailer. See Rolex’s Certified Pre-Owned program terms.

A U.S. retailer’s CPO catalog has shown individual Oyster Perpetual asking prices including $5,750, $9,000 and $20,000. Those examples are listings, not a market-wide range or average; inventory and prices can change or a watch can sell. The available sources do not establish a representative second-hand price or a typical resale premium.

Compare like with like

  • Match the reference, size, metal, dial and generation.
  • Check condition and what is included, such as accessories and papers.
  • Distinguish a Rolex CPO listing from another secondary-market offer; note the seller and any guarantee.
  • Compare the date and country of each quote, and distinguish asking price from taxes and other charges.

Rolex CPO’s stated authentication, servicing and guarantee are program assurances; they do not make watches with different years or configurations directly equivalent.
